Quirky 3rd Gear December 29, 2011 Share December 29, 2011 (edited) Why not? Nissan URVAN. :) sit 4 adults + 2 kids comfortably :) [Can open window if too hot] 3rd row must have air-con vents :) must be bigger than wish/stream, current ride is this size :( [3 litres] not stingy but lower capacity better lah, less road tax, better FC etc. :) [Even better!] SUV or MPV is ok :) [Tan Chong!] must be AD, no PI Edited December 29, 2011 by Quirky

Oneguy 1st Gear December 30, 2011 Author Share December 30, 2011 Whoa. I am amazed at all the replies. Thank you thank you. Sigh, what to do, husband+wife+3kids+maid, then sometimes +in-laws - Kids are getting big, the current ride last row is getting very cramp for them And though I have installed a fan in the 3rd row, the kids are complaining of hot. First, I have to agree that I probably need a mini-bus. I checked out the mini-bus option. I have no issues registering through my business but when I brought wife to see, she say I "siao" argh. Told her, min-bus good man, can do part-time some more. LOL. Not here to trash anybody's view. Everyone entitled to their own viewpoints, and I truly appreciate the time and effort taken to reply on my thread. Here's what my views are: - mini-bus, cannot lah, wife don't like - suzuki apv, sat in one before, friend's friend own one, he says, "PLEASE DONT BUY!" :P - odyssey, a bit small right? the 3rd row is still not a full 3rd row? - estima, PI only leh, no AD ... but if pricing AD can match and bring in, like what they did with Wish, then this will be good option! - viano, whoa, this one is new to me ... need to research, but it a chio mini-bus right? - pisscaso, got 3rd row air vents? - trajet, super old model right? got new model? - proton exora - err .... pass can? :P - audi Q7 - wish i had that kind of money, unfortunately out of budget - mercedes r350 - i drool at this ... but money no enough leh - chery h5 - err .... also pass can? :P [i think possible] sharan [i think possible] galaxy [i think possible] pisscaso [i think possible] mazda 8 [i think possible] previa [i think possible] sorento any more ideas? Watwheels Supersonic December 30, 2011 Share December 30, 2011 (edited) Another one I can think of is the Mitsubishi Delica D5. Sliding doors and very van like. I have seen a few on the road but yet to experience the interior. NA2.0L petrol engine, interior looks spacious. It's from the AD I think. Oh, there's a review from sgcarmart. http://www.sgcarmart.com/news/review.php?AID=273&PN=1 I didn't know got 2.4L option too. Aircon is overhead and covers all rows of seats. But no longer for sale. LOL... Edited December 30, 2011 by Watwheels

Watwheels Supersonic December 30, 2011 Share December 30, 2011 got Ford S-Max... there is the 2.0 ecoboost engine which is newer than the 2.3 version. But if the last row seats are up they are not just cramp, the boot space is also gone. I rather he get the bigger bro of S-max, the Galaxy, same engine too. Stanong11 Clutched December 30, 2011 Share December 30, 2011 Can consider the new Merc Viano, convert to normal plate. Although diesel tax quite high. Or you can get the petrol variant. Can check with Merc if they can bring in for you.
