Guangster Clutched January 19, 2012 Share January 19, 2012 (edited) A young lady, saw her standing with the SCDF after she climb out of her car. Maybe the glaring sun affect her vision which made her car went up the divider. I believe the car at the opposite direction would have scare out of death when he/she saw a car almost flying into their lane. This is the 2 accident i saw this week. Over the weekend, saw 1 car along ECP (to Airport) before reaching MBS, should be speeding when approaching a turn and flipping over and into the center divider. My car was about to change to lane 1 when i saw it coming. Change to lane 3 and speed off. PHEW! Edited January 19, 2012 by Guangster
KARTer 2nd Gear January 19, 2012 Share January 19, 2012 Aiyo 21years old. This accident really justify why TP want cars to slow down along this stretch. One small accident, cause traffic DEADLOCK leh. Singapore cannot afford such down time. Everyroad must move smoothly, at slower speed better than a deadlock speed!!? I support TP to station everywhere to catch those speeding lorries and taxi!! why not fine all who caused accident on major roads during peak traffic and result in jams... fine the culprit $10,000 for every minutes of jams he causes.... everyone caught in the jam will be given a coupon, redeemable for $100 each at TP's cashier upon presentation of the coupon

Darthrevan Supercharged January 19, 2012 Share January 19, 2012 the lanes there narrower than normal. most ppl cant drive properly there...seen many cars keep far far from the divider until encroach on middle lane. either too slow, or too kuku. is the driver old uncle or female? its not true..the road is the same width as other roads..just that most cars are not confident of not hitting the divider..hence they encroached on other lanes..saw many lousy drivers did that..and its a 21 yr old male driver
Adrianli Hypersonic January 19, 2012 Share January 19, 2012 This early morning, ard 7am also got a chain collision at Lornie towards Farrer rd. Three cars were involved on the u-turn lane to MacRitichie Reservoir. Slightly jam as everyone slow down to take a look. I switched to 2nd lane n zoom away. Siao one, whats there to see. Its pretty minor knock type of accident only.
Andylkkg 4th Gear January 19, 2012 Share January 19, 2012 At Lornie Road, many cars tendancy to speed, and whenever there is an accident be it on either side, it will be jam like mad...traffic will be crawling almost to a halt, always faced such delay when there is accident, all drivers please slow down along this stretch of road especially approaching to those bends.... Safety First!
Yardo Clutched January 19, 2012 Share January 19, 2012 farrer road leading to lornie is always jam and so when we reached lornie, we will tend to feel 'relieved' and revv up. I am one of the culprits

I had driven along this stratch countless of time, usually lane 4 those SBS transit buses will slightly eat into lane divider, than cars at lane 2 and lane 3 will usually cannot drive properly and got tandancy to eat into other lane. I suppose the altis driver want to siam the other driver on lane 2 who suddenly eats into lane 1 and thus mounted kerb, hit onto the guardrail and end up stuck between road divider. There are still enough space for heavy vehicles to drive side by side, but the problem is does people has the balls to do that when travelling at say 70km/h ? Most likely they will leave abit more space so end up might eat into the other lane. ( Not uncommon ) . I also witness both heavy vehicles travel side by side very close at high speed (almost same speed ) . I see already ball shrink. Expertz 1st Gear January 19, 2012 Share January 19, 2012 wat a waste to the car... now coe so ex but another car sent to scrapyard liao... all the more there should be more accidents to remove poor, lousy or selfish drivers from the roads! safe, good and proper drivers will never get into needless accidents no matter what speed they drive at. i've seen cars racing thru the bends on expressways at over 150km/h without even eating into the next lane, but all the time i see normal drivers who have to tap brakes and eat into the next lane despite travelling below the speed limits ↡ Advertisement
