Ysc3 Twincharged September 12, 2012 Share September 12, 2012 gold coins are not so good an investment .... but gold is. gold coins are just for hobbyist .... and beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. my dad is an ardent collector ... lots of S'pore Mint commemorative gold coins ... collected through the years ... but when he tried to sell back to the Mint, they only offer him market price for the GOLD CONTENT !! just like the huge stamp and FDC collection he has too ... worth millions in the stamp and coin catalogue ... but in real life, no one will pay for it !!
