Roh96 6th Gear July 8, 2015 Share July 8, 2015 I read that SMRT CEO received a record bonus lately. Well, some will say is not his fault bcos no one expected this to happen. Poor minister who gets lower pay than the CEO but have to work overtime last night and apologize for the breakdown.

Darryn Turbocharged July 8, 2015 Share July 8, 2015 Kee chiu must be feeling the heat as well.... Many of the comments on LTY and SMRT's page are about how our paper generals don't have enough experience and should not be parachuted into important positions..... Was reading the report on his salary increment last night - One comment that amused me.. Part of the pay rise was because he faced a "challenging situation" when he came in ... If like that, then next year his salary goes up to how much? With this sort of breakdown - super challenging!! Now the real question today is... which is better - that Desmond takes responsibility that Ah Khaw suggested or that he is kept in the position as the "best person available" - I'm not a believer in competent people resigning for the sake of appearances - at the same time though, responsibility must be taken. “Recently, I was asked if I was going to fire an employee who made a mistake that cost the company $600,000. No, I replied, I just spent $600,000 training him. Why would I want somebody to hire his experience?” (Thomas J Watson)

Kusje Supersonic July 8, 2015 Share July 8, 2015 LMAO! If it breaks down like it just did on 9 Aug, I wonder if Tuck Yew will continue to say that he's deeply and extremely concerned about that state of events. Should breakdown after ndp. All the RC chairmen and their families will be stuck there unable to get home.

It was reported that he had to cancel his personal leave and came back to handle the issue. He went to visit workers dom and interview them. Very challenging indeed.
