nope it is not if you travel at a comfortable 90kph. The stretch has differing gradients and slight left and rights. If you wanna speed, your car gotta be nimble with good steering response. I realise a lot of taxis and some private cars that are not built to handle (latio, altis..) always brake and eat into middle lane if they corner on the 1st lane, and then they end up road hogging perhaps due to nature of road. I have a tendency to siam these drivers on the middle lane, either going really in front or staying behind them. Never ever take the corner with them.

I was going on the 1st lane once with a taxi in front, he braked hard mid bend and I had to brake too, could feel car tail swinging out already.

It is the driver nd not the vehicle.

dunno why they convert a perfectly fine straight road to a windy one

I think 'cos they need the space to build MBS..... <_<

I wonder how said Aveo driver is feeling right now?

Is it worth scrapping his car for a moment of "pride"? [wave]

Hi, Bro SLSAMG88,

This is the colourful and interesting parts of our mankinds, too narrow minded with petty matters and end up loosing greatly with deep regrets.

Please allow me to explains my personal views about driving and would like to borrow TS a line at........"To the driver, know your car limit and drive safe. I really hope that you are alright."

My advice to all Drivers and Bikers on the road, please treat the vehicle that you're driving as a very Risky Offensive Weapon, it can kill others as well as yourself, knowing the car limitations is still not good enough, but drive safely with considerate attitude towards other road users and own family is utmost important.

Cheers [wave]

Is that stretch of road so difficult to negotiate? I find it very manageable even at highway speeds. The only dangerous part I see is that many people will slow down a lot there, forcing others behind to brake mid corner and possibly losing control due to sudden weight transfer during mid corner.

If you hv a car with good road holding, this stretch is damn shiok to drive.

Only when the road is not wet and not too heavy traffic.

A lot of drivers do not know the limit if their tyres.

Not all tyres are created equal!

Other's do not know the rolling limit of their car's c.g.

Tyres play a big part in every car. Last time when i had Thunderer Mach 1 that came together with my ride and was doing 110 in heavy rain on nsh. My ride was Aquaplaning. After that i change to Yokohama S-Drive, no problem driving in rain at 160

Know your car, drive safely and be considerate to other road users.

Our roads are for public use. A reminder. [:p]

Last night around 8pm there was chain accident along AYE towards ECP lane 1&2, involved 4-5 cars, 1st was a white elantra. There only certain stretch can sprint, also depending on traffic conditions. But driving 70km at the Bends along ECP irritate many drivers and causing traffic bottle neck.
