I say some products can improve sales by raising awareness. products that are cheap, thrives on fad and wanted by the young and impressionistic can probably succeed just by having any form of publicity even if it is bad publicity.

 

but maybe not car tyres. at least from the comments of the car owner forumers here, I doubt they will buy tyre because of her . where awareness of tyrequeen is concerned, all of us already know tyrequeen before xx steps into the picture. and not forgetting most people that buy car tyres are matured men who dislikes lady airheads who only blabbers nonsense or vitriol with their poisonous tongue.

Majority of car owners don't surf MCF and don't bother to read about the issues but many are now aware of tyre queen. XX does not represent a tyre manufacturer, just a retailer, so if tyre queen price is competitive, people will buy from them, rather than from someone they have never heard of. Brand recognition is often the first step towards building awareness and a long term relationship.

 

Now assuming tyre queen throws an attractive offer for a tyre you need, XX would be the least of your consideration to buy from them, I think.

hehe the points majority car owns don't surf mcf and brand recognition I generally agree. but still me and my pals have patronised lesser known tyre shops before so it is not necessary true that tyres sold by a better known shop is more desirable/credible than those of a lesser known shop. even if it did increases sales a little bit, I have doubt whether it is more than the amount they paid xx to endorse.

 

but what I still think is, mature male adults would dislike airheads like her. my use of mcf is mainly to use a profile analysis on car owners and extend it to other car owners outside mcf. it does show a lot of car owners here dislike her and unless the demographics of car owners outside mcf is markedly different, I would believe the feedback of mcf car owners do have a significant statistical correlation on non-mcf car owners' patronage of tyrequeen post xx endorsement.

Otherwise, we should not cross the imaginary line of moral ethic.

As for getting a spokesperson of certain persona, it is 见仁见智 （oh you angmo kiwi, maybe dun understand… )…it means to each his own (the sponsors i.e.). XX does have her flock of sarporters.

Yes, install tyres shouldn't have installation fees. Just look around and most tyre companies do not charge
