Anyone can recommend me a honest plumber?

My toilet bowl choked.

Last time i got a plumber, i kenna carrot head

Only if choke with paper...no problem

If your water supply is quite powerful....connect a hose to tap, (those with thread and transparent type) make sure u clip...then put inside the toilet bowl...turn ON tap and jiggle..the hose

I done it with all my chokage problem...even floor trap with thick slug..

If choke with plaster cement....then you have to go hardware shop and by chemical...pour in, leave it overnight.....will solve the problem

He is really honest and charge reasonable rates. Used him once for my my mum's place. Kitchen sink drainage pipe corroded n toilet bowl rubber sleeve to tank leaking. He charge a total of S$80 to replace the drain pipe with s-trap to pvc and new rubber sleeve.

Before any inspection, we used to pour the liquid type of air freshener down the toilet bowl n sink. Whole toilets smells very nice.

U can try it. We use the liquid air freshener to mop the floor too. Confirm whole toilet "pang pang".

Anyone know roughly how much? Water leaking under the basic pipes?

you mean under the basin? the U pipe? call his number and tell them the problem. Ask for a quote on the phone.....I replace the full set of pipe under my kitchen basin (two basin type so two set of pipes) and also the two basin drainage from Ceremic type to stainless steel type for around $250. I'm quite happy with the workmanship....if they come for survey and quoted too high...just reject them...

Turbocharged

Aunty Lucy plumber chop head (carrot too small to cut). Just be aware what is the market price.

Im quite familar with the parts prices. Just lazy to DIY without any equipment and tools.

They came to my house (new house, without any pipe) , quoted S$400+.

I asked them is it that they dont know how to lay the pipe, that's why quote so high just to get the transport fee (I think is S$15) and run road?

Fxxing useless shitt. His name is Mr Aw @ AMK area. Mobile ends with 2236.

Next day, look for another plumber (not from lucy), quoted S$220 and ask them to start work immediately.

Settled within 2hrs.

They provide Free On-Site Assessment? Sounds pretty good? Usually heard if they come down, default must pay for transport fees and plus repair costs.

You are lucky, able to clear the choke so easily.

Our toilet bowl in common toilet choked during the recent CNY.

Tried using the rubber pump, chemicals, wire snake. Jialat, all the "golden pieces" floating in the bowl, almost overflowing.

Had to keep the common toilet closed, and CNY guests had to use the master bedroom toilet.

Let the liquid drained off slowly through the clog after several days.

Removed the water tank, removed the toilet bowl, straightaway saw the reason for the clog : a scrubber brush [commonly called coconut brush] was stuck at the outlet of the toilet bowl.

* after cleaning the floor during CNY spring-cleaning, I must had pour the dirty water together with the scrubber brush into the toilet bowl.

* subsequently toilet papers got entangled with the scrubber brush to choked almost 99% of the outlet of the toilet bowl.

Scrubber brush also can flushed into the toilet bowl, so powerful?! Heard before even if you flushed your hairs into toilet bowl, eventually it might chocked the toilet bowl.
