For people for bought the Thinkware F750 (front and rear) camera, where did you buy it? Did it include installation? Do you have to buy Thinkware's microSD card separately? TIA.

is this due to recording at 30fps, camera record at this rate can't see properly on moving car especially at higher speed. You can achieve

So min need 60fps ? But I checked most car cam specs doesn't state what is the fps of the camera.... just says HD only :(

A few thing that determine a good car camcorder, the sensor (resolution), the recording speed (fps), the lens (angle and lens type) and processor (image processing CPU). All the full HD car camera can only run 30fps at 1920×1080. In the event of the accident, if the camera is on high specification, you can capture the number plate and what actually happen. Nevertheless, if you are talking about getting detail video on moving object then you need a camera that can caputre more flame (1 photo or image) per second (fps) at high resolution which only high speed camera can do it. A high speed camera can capture 1024x1024 pixel at 6400 fps and the price is more than 10K. A camcorder in this case basically not required it, it just need full HD with 30fps, good lens and sensor, and a good image processing to get enough detail of the accident. Furthermore, the purpose of car camcorder is not use to capture scenery but event right?

there are few instances where the car overtook me and zoomed pass dangerously but I'm not able to see their car plate clearly when review back the recording.

Get a Action Camera like SJCam or GoPRO...they all have Car Functions like loop recording, motion detection.

SJCam are all less than $200 with Full HD and 60fps, and very small...yet dual function as a regular camera or camcorder when you want to use it.

Why spend so much money when nobody going to give you back any...insurance company will give you some discount so long you have a front camera...no need to spend big bucks on one...just my opinion... :a-panic:

Bought mine from the Car Expo, there is the option of paying $70 for installation, then bring the items to one of their appointed installers.

For micro-SD card, my bundle came with 16GB, but I have used a Samsung EVO 64GB card without problems. The Thinkware 64GB card price is more than 6 times of the Samsung.

any one using ITB-200L? How is this model, esp night recording.

any bro can advise if the power connector for Blackvue can be used for Itronic ITB-200L? This will help me to save on wiring.

Thanks.

i think this is a much older model vs ITB100HD SP (wifi, non-wifi). The difference i believe is video resolution and 200L is a non-wifi version

i use marbella mx6 after i see my colleague's mx5 doing well under tuas sun.

we park whole day in sun at tuas without trees and he doesn't remove it from his dash. more than a year leaw no problem

100+ nia at comex...got to see recording on tv and it was clear

dash cam nia, nth but CCD, accelerometer, CPU and battery, to me not worth hard earned $600-700

if it same for you, for budget option i reco marbella

I am also using the Morbella car camera with front and rear camera which i used the rear screen as reverse camera.......RRP$399 (sometime offer @S$299).  Mine come free from 2nd car dealer when i bought the car.  Only complaint is the build-in battery might having some problem..Should be dropping by the agent to check.

Hi guys,

Need recommendations for Car Camera. Best is those place which includes installation.

1) Front Cam Only

2) Front & rear Cam

Depends on your budget.  Sometime it's ok to buy since camera but buy two unit (one for front and one for rear) but these will depends on you available power point in the car.  Can easily self installation.

Qoo10 or Wish also got.  Just works within your budget.

It's easier to remove when you need to sell or scrap your car, unlike those installed by audio shop, you will need to find how to remove or pay a fees to remove it.

I'm using marbella mx 6, bought at $149. One of the better priced model in the market and this is good enough.

Those higher end models will be easily 300++
