i am talking about in general and not about LEGOLAND.

everyone knows the POLIS and the security guards in bolehland are partnership with the robbers.

daytime polis night time robbers.only in bolehland can!

It is almost like saying every single married MP in Singapore parliament is a womanizer....there is truth in the statement but any significance of the statement got lost in the exaggeration....

Another exaggeration that we often hear here is that if you drive a new car, it will confirm be scratched if you park in a HDB parking lot because everyone who lives in a HDB are all green eyed monsters. [laugh]

Just sharing, went there with the family last Friday...arrived at around 1030AM...parked at Zon 3 (if I remember correctly) which is near the Medini Mall...a few steps away from the covered walk way...take the travellator up to the mall which is nearer Legoland entrance...

Stayed the whole day until 9PM...even if Legoland says closing at 8PM (though the rides are all closed) I think they still allow to stroll near the Lego SE miniature displays so we actually exited the park around 840-9PM I think... ate some light snacks at the mall..loved the hotcakes at Pancake house!! [laugh] and left the place maybe 930pm plus...carpark is quite bright and if I remember correctly most of the cars beside me were SG plates and I think 2 BMW's and 1 Merc...time I came back the 3 luxury cars still there and saw no issues...I also never most SG cars parked near my car with steering wheel lock or what ever, still saw roving guards even at that late hour..

I won't say it's "definitely safe" as I don't want to eat my words if something happens next trip (yes the kids are egging me to go back)...but didn't feel anything during the stay there...I even went back to car in the afternoon to get something...maybe because I was parked nearer the "big time" cars and no one would notice my small B&B car [:p]

Maybe just don't think too much...

Crimes happen everywhere. Not just in M'sia. There are also BMWs, Mercs and Audis in M'sia too, not just Singapore. Does that mean the M'sian owners of these rides don't drive them out?

Just practice some common sense when you are over there and you would be fine. It anything happen, it's just suay.

1) Secure your car with steering wheel lock. There is no lock in the world that can't be defeated. Putting on a steering wheel lock just act as a deterrent.

2) Park you car somewhere bright and with more traffic (both humans and cars)

3) Do not leave any bags or valuables in the car. For those who uses IU cover, remove them so that anyone who walks past can see that there is NO cash card inserted in the IU.

4) Driver should not alight and leave the key in the ignition or while your passengers are still in the car with the doors UNLOCKED. In short, always LOCK your cars even when you are inside

Oh, I didn't know they let visitors still walk around the park after closing time. Does the park have bright lights to shine on the attractions? The rides still available after closing time?

Thanks for the info. [:)]

I'm not sure until what time they let people walk around...but mostly they would I think usher visitors near the entrance and since the Lego attractions are at the centre near the entrance they let us walk around there until the Driving Ride near the boats I think...but all the rides close by 8PM...even the shops they wont let anyone go in anymore by 8PM..maybe they let people walk around until 9PM? But not really confirmed...cause we left around 830...

Bright not really...it was quite dark except for the lights towards the attractiions...except for the big Christmas tree at the left and near the center pond..

Enjoy your trip..

Been to Legoland 3x.

Like what some brothers have said, if possible don't visit Legoland during the weekend, Monday n Friday. This is day where Legoland is at most crowded.

I have been to Legoland on a Monday, Tuesday and Saturday.

For all 3 trips. I arrive quite early around 9am. So park near the Medini shopping centre, around 20-30 metre where the security guard is seated

To really enjoy the ride, you have to come early and need to plan where you must go first.... Usually by 12 noon - 1pm, the place will pack like sardine especially during weekends and you end up queuing for at least 1 hour to take the ride....

I have visited Legoland again via public bus. To my surprise, public bus has its advantage X-ing check points.

Unlike the cars usually has long Q during this period(school holiday), the public bus is blizz both way to JB and back SIN from Woodlands.

Best, it is very easy and convenience to take bus to Legoland. No complain. Only cost RM4 per pax from JB sentral (across the JB ICQ fully sheltered)

I think the Malaysian is learning fast to provide public transport to tourists ingest area.

Now Airasia also learning smart to provide bus transport to Senai airport. Sure Boleh this time Malaysia
