Quite simple really. If the tree's standing the driver die. If the tree has fallen, the driver lives. In this case, as the tree is still standing, the car is damn safe and protected the driver very well.

Yup.. But if it was breakneck speed, even the Volvo might not help.

The agencies need to share the findings of such incidents so that more awareness can be raised amongst the driver's community.

Very true, it's just pure physics. At such thin surface it's like a blade cutting the meat...You need a chassis as rigid as a tank to be able to withstand that impact..

If you study physics, you will know how much impact for a car when it hits the tree....

just bring this up for awareness, the case is still pending and victim still yet receive any compensation.

victim is paralysed from neck to toe.

 

last heard, lambo driver is willing to close the case but comfort delgro is dragging the case.

 

PS. This is in reference to the lambo, taxi crash in Lau pat sat, not the TS post.
