Nightkids 6th Gear December 3, 2012 Share December 3, 2012 They came out because they could not view all the passenger properly thru their window. Otherwise they no need to do so. They are still practicing this procedure. I don't think it will add to the jam cos they don't take long to check the headcount. Ya lo, nowadayslack till like charcoal....cannot see inside properly ↡ Advertisement

Tireburner 3rd Gear December 3, 2012 Share December 3, 2012 Came back this afternoon and jam was horrible towards SG checkpoint. Those damn lorries crossing passenger cars' lanes. If not for them, I think it wouldn't be that bad. The closing of car lanes for them for sometime each time causes vehicles to build up.

If not for them, I think it wouldn't be that bad. The closing of car lanes for them for sometime each time causes vehicles to build up. The lorries does contribute to the jam, in one way. Last week I was coming back at noon, 2 lorries (pulling trailers) keep cut in & out of car lanes to overtake stationary lorries parked on the extreme right. I think without them sure can cut down at least 30mins! Probably weekends will be better as I observed before there were lesser or no lorries at all on a Sat/Sun. I was cut by a factory bus from the lorry lane when I came back last week. It cause me to e-brake to avoid the bus when it turned out suddenly without signal...... Jasonjst 3rd Gear December 3, 2012 Share December 3, 2012 Why not use 2nd link at Tuas , save the jam . Work out to be the same cost if you consider time and gas wasted on the jam.

Ruzmidah 2nd Gear December 3, 2012 Share December 3, 2012 Tuas jam is very unpredictable. If u get stuck, can get stuck for hrs due to the design and less counters. The malaysia side even worse. Woodlands more predictable.
