reset 120? my goodness, just disconnect the battery and let it sit for 2 hours for the ECU to clear. But it doesnt solve the underlying probelm.

Bro I know just disconnect the battery will reset the ECU. But the advisor told me since they had use their manpower to check so even I dun reset, they still will charge me for labour. Me LanLan got fire back.

Just send my car to Tan Chong Service Centre this morning. Got a from the adviser, told me my Oxygen Sensor is faulty, need to be replaced. Cost: $546 exclude GST. But I didn't change it. Heard my friend who used to be a mechanic told me maybe is just a mild problem. As I didn't drive for the last 5 days, It had trigger more O2 that's why the engine light on. Just reset can already. Oxygen sensor can last up to 150000km. And my car mileage only 75000km. But even I told them to reset, they still charge me $120 exclude GST. Super expensive.

And u wud hv saved enough to buy both of us a good lunch.

Very likely is the mass airflow sensor. You can go to Fong Tat or mandarine to buy. Just get yr chassis number and they can get you the correct part about 150 dollars.

if you are tech savvy you can connect to the OBDII port on your car (via wifi or bluetooth) from your phone and read/clear codes from there.

Just go to a stockist get the sensor and then change at WS.

Warranty over for what sent to TC? Kenna carrot only.

 

Any outside workshop with decent worksmanship can change the sensor. Probably cost not much more than what you paid to TC.
