Dunno the new X7 is really 160 degree or not... but my 120 degree still not end to end of my front windscreen... I think to see the car plate furtherest it can go is 2 cars length. Below is the screenshot of it not sure how to see if it is 160 degree. Hope it help. Don't pay $16 for nothing. This is gimmick. Dear customer, PLEASE USE Kingston memory card (CLASS 4), we found Sandisk memory card has possible compability issue (both Class 4 and Class 10 - Problem: such as recording cannot finish preset loop time or displays memory error). Memory card we're selling is Kingston class 4 memory card. It has no problem with 720p and 1080P recording. Our recomended resolution setting: 720P( Testing shows although1080p gives bigger image size( takes more space), but there is not clearance improvement) Our recommended video time(loop time) setting: 2 mins ( It will not cause delay of transfering recorded files from internal memory to memory card). Please turn the motion detection off if you use it during driving. Please set the video time from 1 to 3 mins. Bro, X7 motion detection not good... cannot activate immediately once anything pass within view.. I tested on my 120 degree set and the recording only activate 1-3 secs after the motion starts within the viewfinder of the X7.. so no use lo.. better ones i think for motion detection are the DR-400G and the ITB-100HD as for me, I leave it on continuous recording when parking.. but not for too long la (ie over night) as battery will drain off.. This one website not so colorful and LOUD as the other website.. I'm using sandisk since I got my X7 and no failures leh... recording is Ok and overriding is OK..
