Waiting time very long at Grand City. Just made one for $62, takes about 1.5months.

I'll stick to Marks and Spencers Autograph shirts for now.

Mark & Spencers is very louse fitting le. I look very fat le. Why not G2000 outlet in Changi City Point?

I suit M&S cutting cos of my big frame and height. I find that their shirts and pants fit my body type. Plus they have got a wide range of designs and those 3 for $79 packs are value for money. Ironing is a breeze and the shirts don't crease easily. Everytime i redeem Robinsons voucher from citibank (and soon $80 from NS45 vouchers) i will head down there to stock up on shirts.

I make it a point to buy a shirt every month.

G2000 probably suit the Asian frame better as the sleeves and shirt length was too short for me. Right now my arms are crying for space with my g2000 shirt.

You buy a shirt every month? [shocked] Which means you should have many many many shirts, old and new together!

So you are not asian? That's why G2000 shirt doesnt suit you?! [:/]

If you have a typical asian build which i think you do, the cutting and styles of their clothes are not for you. Of course am not stopping you to buy. [laugh]

Take 1.5 months to tailor made one shirt? Looks like either their business very good or they are taking their own sweet time?! [:p]

Thinking $62 for one tailor made shirt consider cheap or expensive?! As shirt off shelves for G2000 style, should cost between $40-$60.

Lol, you are asian but ang moh frame ar?! :D

If you would not repeat the same shirt within one month, then i guess you need to have about 22 different shirts to wear per month?! If you are on a 5 days work week.

Well, technically they are Ang Mohs who are smaller sized than me or you.

How would you categorize a person 1.87m and 99kg in weight? [:)]

On average i need to go through 18 different shirts before i can go back to the same one. Fridays are casual so i only wear formal outfits for 4 days.

On average i spend $80 on shirts (I get the 2-shirt packs from M&S) per month.

That's $960 per year on average.

Some people can spend $960 in a month on modifications on their vehicles.

And within a year i can accumulate more than enough shirts (2shirts x 12months = 24) to go through my one month cycle.

Anyway since i quit smoking i can use that money to offset my shirt purchases. I used to spend $120 on cigarettes in a month on average. [:)]

18 different shirt before going back to the same one?! You should have a very big cupboard to hold all your shirts?! [:p] If i do not repeat the same shirt within 2 weeks already consider quite good, but usually i would not repeat same shirt within a week.

If you use your $120 per month on cigarettes on your shirts, you have $1440 per year and can buy lots and lots of shirts! [nod]

Just curious why don't you spend more and tailor better shirts rather than buy so many.

Same question to answer: You buy shirts to look presentable to go to work to make money, or you make money to buy nice shirts to go to work? [laugh]

To me, presentable and nice cutting is sufficient, and at a reasonable price point. I want to do other things with my money, not buying work-wear shirts.

I'm a poor salaried worker, cannot afford to go tailor all the time. [laugh]

anyway as mentioned before, the fitting and prices of M&S are perfect for me. I don't work for M&S though in case any of you are wondering.

Oh while we are on the topic of office wear, i bought a 3 piece suit for $249 at the Suit Factory. Perfect fit, and they come in my sie (size 54 top). They're also selling formal pants at 3 for $100. I went to their warehouse space at Joo Seng Warehouse at Upper Aljunied Road.

That is quite common. I myself have 35 shirts, some from raoul, zara, calvin klein, boss, dkny and tailored shirt.

After sometime i need extra shirt rack for the shirts.

Same. I just want something which fits and is comfortable. Maybe because I am smaller sized so have to tailor to get a nice fit. OTR for me usually fit nicely everywhere but the back will be very airy.

I only have 10 shirts. Some whites, blue and the rest all pastel colors.

I find more important to have shoes though. Try not to wear the same shoe more than once a week so that the leather have time to rest. See many people with many shirts but wearing the same shoes everyday. [laugh]
