Anyone tried Chin Wah & Co. at 63 Killiney Road before? I always see got big conti or sports car change their tyre there.

I looking for 205/50/16 n was quoted $180/pc. A bit too ex. U know if he sell this size n how much?

My first time changing tyres anyone can help me with this? The shop recommended me Pirelli tyres for 18'' rims for $180 each. I looked through the threads and saw that tyres are not that expensive generally. But Pirelli seems like a good brand, so is it worth it?

 

 

If same price n size...I wud go fr PS3 or CSC3.

I chked around. Seems like the 50 series is a bit more ex. I reluctant to get cos I wud rather go back to my A.drive R1 instead. Abt $150 ea.

 

But I wil call him when I need to change my rubbers. Now still got quite a bit left.

don't go for the hard rubber tyres although it's good for taking high speed but not sticky on the road, try to buy tyres made of some soft rubber.

CaptainJO, Hard tyre if you are referring to hard compound or Hard sidewall?

 

Harder (or stiff) side wall generally does give better handling at high speed and cornering(less flex).

Harder compound in general is longer lasting in OLD tyre technology .

with Modern tech tyre can provide good grip as well as longer lasting by Premium tyre company

we are talking about Street tyre (not semi or full slick tyre)
