Family and friends of suspected Kovan murder victims arrive at mortuary Published on Jul 11, 2013 9:32 AM By Jalelah Abu Bakar Family members and friends of two suspected murder victims arrived at the mortuary to identify their bodies at 8.15am on Thursday.The two men who died were father and son. Four men and two women came in a car whose license plate also bears "14J," matching the number of the family's home on Hillside Drive. On Wednesday, the son, in his 40s, was found outside Kovan MRT station along Upper Serangoon Road, while his father, in his 70s, was found in his home on Hillside Drive. The son was seen to have been dragged by a car to the MRT station, leaving a blood trail between the two locations. They are like some cult members, where 14J bears strong significance. Immediately, she honked at the car, along with "15 to 20 other cars", said the Caucasian eyewitness of the horrific scene. She said it kept going for another 400m before the body eventually dislodged at the taxi stand just outside Kovan MRT station. The car continued without stopping, she added. It is believed that the body had been dragged for 1km. The body at Kovan MRT, belonging to a Chinese male in his 40s, was one of two found by police yesterday afternoon. The other, a Chinese male in his 70s, was found at the garden of the corner terrace house along Hillside Drive. They are believed to be father and son.
