Cant rotate, just make sure you take the pics in landscape mode and the correct side up.

Very elegant IWC complications.

How much for that?

Listed 55k. Boutique can give me 52k. AD can give me 45k or so. Havent checked the grey imports though.

It looks really nice on my wrist, even my wife says so. But at that price range..... can get a PP or lange, non-perpetual though. Dont really need a perpetual calendar anyway but the iwc looks really good on me.

See how lah. Got a few big ticket items coming up. Two family trips with my folks and in-laws. Parents' car COE due this year. Wife may be full time SAHM. May not be a good time to get another watch.

Actually one good one is really good enough.

I wore my Sub exclusively for 8 good years, never thought i needed anything better, then the poison started.

I think the item truly becomes yours when it's been with you through the good times and the bad.

I think nothing can quite replace my Sub after 15-16 yrs...

Not my Daytona that i've worn for 8yrs, not my daydates nor my GMT gold Sub gold etc....

Those are still more of part of my wardrobe than part of me when compared to the Sub.

Sometimes, its this thought that prevents me from buying anymore becos it becomes just another watch.

Anyway, food for thought ..... Doesnt mean i wont buy another lah, hahah

Dont like the ceramic bezel daytona.

Looks nice but somehow in a toyish manner.

Still prefer the standard non ceramic bezel daytonas

Will be on the look out for white gold diamond dial one with black croco strap.

The ceramic bezels can take hard knocks and still won't scratch!

I have the new GMT Master 2 with the ceramic bezel and I am so wow by the fact that accidental knocks or brushes with chairs, tables, etc...does not produce any scratches at all.

But my JLC reverso with SS case can easily scratch if I accidentally brush it on chairs, tables, walls, etc...

I also have the new GMt2 with ceramic bezel.

Even the old bezel doesnt scratch easily, actually.

My old subs and gmT bezels are all looking fine after many many years

Ceramic doesnt scratch easily but can crack and chip.

Anyway, its not the material that i dont like.

Its the color of the bezel which makes the Daytona116515 look overall toyish as mentioned.

Still nice but toyish.

I just rather the normal bezel.

the choice is like buying a top of line VW with lots of gadgets.. And choosing between a Basic 7 series with lesser gadgets.. Which will u go for..

No right and wrong for the car as both looks equally old after 10 years.

But for the watch.. If u haven't tell it's 50k.. I wouldn't know too. But if it's a good PP, I will know it's definitely not cheap.

Nice in the picture, but I find the real watch a bit too dark.

There is another version with an ivory dial which I think is nicer and easier to read.

both look nice!

Tank from Cartier is a good collectible watch, The other one is Santos.

Not much maintenance to take care about, just becareful of scratching the SS around the case. The case is almost a scratch magnet but can be polished off when you bring it for servicing once every few years.
