i went in at about 11pm last night. it was quite bad but coming out surprisingly smooth. very smooth actually. which makes me wonder why as the procedures are the same. chop passport go to the clearance area, check boot and go.

 

usually when i come out at this time it will be quite jammed at this clearance point.

Don't think the 3rd link will be at Punggol.....cos based on the future map of Punggol, there are no place to build a bridge/checkpoint there, at all.

you realise something, why jams at check points??

 

If the open all the ICA kiosks, or add more kiosks, the jams will clear faster!! No need another new link where there will be too few operating kiosks to cope with the cars going through.

so many also think they got money and follow suit. - become JAM lane also . hahaha

 

But if the normal jammed lane is FOC, and no jam lane pay a significant high fee, then may be it can become no jam lane.

I just said a crazy idea.... ha ha ha. Taking precedent on how our gov way of solving problem which the introduction of COE, ERP, etc. The question is whether it does solve the problem without having other unintended by-product effect, it is up to individual to digest and interpret.

How long did it take for you to clear both ends? I so scared, I haven't been to JB for a while but will have to brave the jam pretty soon, hope all these due to qing ming.
