some numbers are out - so cat a 70% now taken by BMW, Merc and Volvo. so the shortest cut method i can think of for the scholars is cat a wil b reduced by 70% and moved to cat b. cat a will now b OMV 20k below cars. Done.

yup looks like it. OMVs = C200 is 34k, 316i is 33k, A200 24.5k, S60 32k, V40 30k.

 

all the bread and butter jap/korea 1.6 cars are below 20k.

of which prob >50% of that is bank loans... so banks huat n garmen huat!!!

that is why the consultation took 3 mths, cos with every proposal, the bottomline is 'how much will COE be affected?'....

This September 2nd round COE will be very interesting & exciting .....

 

Bidding starting today (16/09/13) and ends on 18th Sept @ 4.00pm.

 

With the weekends rush to some showrooms (as in SM Motors shown on Sat news, 14/09/13), only chance left for lux vehicles to stay at CAT A for the next 4 months before the 130bhp kicks in .....

 

The question in potential car owner is - Will it cross S$100k marks within the next few months ?

I received a sms message yesterday from BM, SE asking me whether I wanted to change my Picnic since it left with 2-1/2 yrs.......

 

The message stated that the COE going to increase further ....

 

I was just , even the next 7 ~8 seaters I am looking for is either Previa or Alphard and both above S$220k .....
