He checked into another hospital but nearer to his house. Likely for recuperation.

Hope he get well soon.

Good news!!

Apparently he's still not out of ICU though has made good progress.

No details as in what does it mean by "no longer in a coma"?? But as long as he's still alive, it's already a blessing.

Heard the news that he was in a coma for the past 5 months and now finally woke up! Edited by 13177

Wonderful news.

I would say this is possible only for the ultra rich. For normal folks, this level of care is not possible to even maintain life, let alone such a improvment.😔

Credit to the family for continuing with it. Must have taken years of patient rehab to reach this stage.

12 years is a long time.

For the low income families, they will probably have pulled the plug long ago.

For the average middle income families, unlikely they will have the financial resources to tong for so long.

For the ultra rich / HNW, although money is not an issue, but to support the patient (non-monetarily) continuously would still be very challenging.

All I can say is time is not up for shoemaker 时辰未到. Wish him all the best in the long road to a "full" recovery.

That was slightly lesser than his annual pay when he was at his career peak.
