im looking at koni Shock absorbers.  any one has any experience with this?  of course, Bilstein, sachs etc are the brands I have heard of. but this is the first time I heard aboujt koni, googled it and it is from Netherlands.

any FR reviews are always welcome

Bilsteins or Sachs would be more suitable for your Golf.

I was on Sachs which is reputed for their transmissions and shock absorbers.

Wah.. I was re-reading and following through this thread. The problems it has had is horrible.. Thanks for sharing Keith. I'm sorry for the plight but guess you won't do another VW now.

I sold me 7.5 years old BMW E90 3 weeks ago and has been without a car since. Realized BMW (Bus MRT Walk) being the most efficient now (Take Downtown Line) to Telok Ayer. Just $1.69 per trip, 50 mins door-door from home to office.

I think I'd still get a car - perhaps a lifestyle one - but yes, can't decide for now.. Looking at a Mazda MX-5.
