sometime it's not about racer ... it's expectation and more to driving habit/behaviour

you step accelerator ... the car is not moving ... step harder ... still not moving or slow (cvt gearbox also play a part)

it's like the foot not talking to the brain ... it's quite irritating ... so ... like another bro posted ...

owner must calibrate their right foot and knowing your car so that your right foot step and car move in syncronise

otherwise ... get a more powderful car ... lol

All I can say is.. Beggars cannot be choosers.

Buy a sub 120k car, want looks, comfort, nice interior, warranty, built to last, brisk performance.. Something wrong with expectations. Buy a cheap car, definitely something needs to be sacrificed.

I am currently considering the Suzuki S-Cross with Qashqai. Currently the price difference bet e 2 is ard $900 with e S-Cross at $115,900 with 3M solar film, dimming rear view mirror n Black Vue incar camera. I sat in both and found Qashqai to be more comfortable n slightly more spacious in e cabin. However, a bit concerned after reading about e engine n start stop issues mentioned in e forum.

I had similarly test drove the S-Cross and Qashqai back in Jan. Personally, I feel that the Qashqai is better overall, booked it and had been driving the Qashqai for the past 3 months. Not everyone encountered the problems that you see in this forum. For my ride, I did experience the 'auto brake problem'. TC has been trying to troubleshoot it for me, in fact, TC just changed some brake components this afternoon on my ride. Hopefully, this 'auto brake problem' will be resolved after the latest repair. Overall, I'm happy with the Qashqai and so it my family.

Qashqai owners : some testimonial on why your Qashqai is the best buy.

Potential Qashqai owners : some conviction to sway your decision.

Wt_know/qashqigrey,

Asisted radar auto braking is a safety concern, you need to drive one or at least read up more ...haha. Do you wish to drive without ABS which is standard now but only available in hiend cars 20 yrs ago ...which is also just one technique of assisted braking ?

It's not about ABS now, car refuses to move from stationary. Was told that the probable cause is the electronic brakes engaging and not dis-engaging in time when engine stop/start.

We are referring to the technologies available to UK qashqai and radar assisted braking ...not the lost of power issue that you refer to that some think solved if you disable stop/drive. The whatsapp group hopes to field trial in mid Sep on default disable module. Cheers
