Nissan833 5th Gear December 6, 2015 Share December 6, 2015 Honestly.. for chrome in ABS plastic for QQ accessories, I bought from both Aliexpress and Ebay UK before. They are really almost the same. No noticeable difference in quality from either. My opinion is these items will undergo exterior wear & tear so I get the cheaper one, good enough, spoil then just replace. In fact, some of the Ebay UK supplier for these items are from China too. Just different online marketplace allows them to price higher. Philips LED is nice and latest but sgd200 a pair at best available price on the internet. Energy saving and less heat than halogen but reportedly throws longer distance which is key consideration as compared than typical Philips or Osram halogen mod at 1/3 or less $. I rmbr paying SGD $155 for my Phillips H11 white bulbs immediately after collection.. change lights, get new bigger 19" rims and better tires seemed like the norm for me after car collection Next day, install throttle controller, remove lousy stock camera, got front & back Blackvue setup nicely. Then slowly wait for my set of exterior chrome trim accessories. ↡ Advertisement

Are you able to view or activate your blackvue video remotely from home, and did you set it up to record when motion was sensed (anti- tampering/ vandalism )? Gt5454 1st Gear December 6, 2015 Share December 6, 2015 (edited) Finally had a chance to test both the 1.2 and 2.0 today. 1.2 is adequate for daily driving but 2.0 is noticeably more powerful for obvious reasons. However the 2.0 seems to be slightly noisier when Rev the engine. The 19 inch rims and tyres also generates a higher road noise. Another interesting thing notice is the glass roof seems to make the car warmer as compared. I really like the extra power in the 2.0. Can feel power at your feet. Haha. 12k price difference , quite hard to decide. My current car is due for scrap in June so I told the sales Exec that I will book in Feb or March. She told me even if I book now and secure stock and Coe soon, I can wait up till 6 months to register the car. Is that true? Can some experts clarify please ? Thanks. I dont see it on the list. The led replacement bulbs are of the recommended type h11 and the wattage is infact lower than the the factory fit. The led is at 9.5w while the factory is like 55w or 65w. The only thing of concern is the colour which is 6000k. Not sure if there is any word9ng on that

It is indeed quite hard to decide between 1.2 and 2.0 but in my case the paramonical, mind blowing 天窗was what I wanted the most (The view is superbly outstanding for the back passengers). With a willing se, you could narrow the 2.0 premium over the 1.2 by a further 1k (2k maybe- highly difficult, remote the chance it may seem but not entirely impossible) - from your indicated differential for them.Am no expert and am stating without any real insider info but I will take the 6 month assertion on delivery lead time with a strong grain of salt and will instead encourage you to double check her comment with yet another cold call visit to the other branches and talk to other se. You will find that there are differences between them as they have some leeway among themselves and work quite independently from one another (No two of the se are alike). The crucial calculus and critical determinant in my opinion is the outcome of the trajectory of the Coe price and where it lands. Wishing you good luck and good hunting. kumquat 3rd Gear December 6, 2015 Share December 6, 2015 1 week into the new car and sent it back to TC for a rattling noise in the front and unresponding auto start/stop. They fixed it after 4 hours and all was good until the next day... Now start rattling noise from the back. I give up. I don't know if I bought a car or a baby rattler toy. Very disappointed with the quality of the car.

Very disappointed with the quality of the car. Rattling noise from the back? Where is it coming from? The front radio has some rattling over humps but I will fix it during first servicing... Can't be bother to send car in and out. Anyway I have many rattling experience in many cars so don't be too TL and make the experience negative.... Turn the radio vol higher. So far no big complains except the seats mechanism a bit short of expectation. But my family first jap so I am quite happy with it despite initial doubts. Simple no brainier car to fetch family around during weekend.
richard_crl032 6th Gear December 6, 2015 Share December 6, 2015 Sgd155 for Philips white light is for the usual halogen would be way too expensive since it should be around sgd90 and think you better avoid going back to this shop. Simple no brainier car to fetch family around during weekend. Before, the rattling noise was from the front passenger side. Somewhere near the side mirror. Rattling noise when on bumpy roads or going uphill. Now it's at the back. Sounds like near the window/seat on the left of the car. Rattling noise comes on only on bumpy roads on when going downhill. Actually it's my first bad experience on a jap car, that's why quite TL about it. Previous civic did not give a single issue until it was 7/8 years old and altis was put through a work horse lifestyle and never once had to take a day off. Hd2004 2nd Gear December 7, 2015 Share December 7, 2015 I read from sgcarmart review that someone needs to engage D1 to drive over a hump from stop. Is there such a gear? I thought there is only a D gear. Very puzzled :)
Hd2004 2nd Gear December 7, 2015 Share December 7, 2015 Just guessing.. Maybe it is the seat beat buckle. Mind sharing what was your start\stop issue? Has it been fixed? Mine is fine but I happened to open my front passenger closet and behind it saw the cable from the locally fitted HU cables tied together and dangling with just a crude sponge to prevent it from rubbing. This is probably the cause of your front rattle. It may be the back rattle is from a cable as well ( from the reverse camera, reverse video ) running back to the HU. Just simple poor workmanship from local workshop . Edited December 7, 2015 by EricChan ↡ Advertisement
