I was very impressed that a chap from Renault distributor actually posting on the Renault forum here . Shows a degree of willingness to listen and pay attention to the ground be it genuine concerns or unhappy noise ( and some may be less than complimentary pranks ) from forumers. Well done Renault! Come up tan Chong you could too (maybe you are but doing it quietly)

 

My SE from TC did talk to me about their forum findings, so probably there are some of them who trawl the forums for feedback. More importantly, are they doing anything abt the feedback [laugh]

Did any notice that there are cables underneath connected to the front passenger seat. At least for the 2.0l. It means that it can be updated to an electrical seat as is standard with the driver seat.

Yes I noticed that when I collect my car. The cables were not properly secured initially, had them done during my first service.

I am also guessing it is there for electric seat or it could be for the heating element on the seat. More likely for the electric seat.

We could use them to install seat cooler instead [:p]

You can warm your seat , you can chilled your backside , just don't mount any camera with it

Lol I did bro,just seeing if there are any other recommended brands.

think a lot of bros here did PPS at opti-shine including myself.

I haven't really did a full car wash myself since last dec...

at 1K servicing request TC to wash with water only, and on some rainy days just wipe dry.. car still gleaming.

The cables are probably for the seat sensor.

Hi bro, just finish my 1k servicing. To be frank. I am like u before buying qq. Read thru the forum and worry this worry that but hell ya, just go buy and never look back since.

 

So far i have not face any of this issue (touch wood). I believe every brand and every car sure got this sort of problems, sure got a few batch with qc problems. Just have to take it with a pinch of salt...

Just did the 1k servicing at TC too.

Before and after servicing, alot of difference.

Wonder what they did to the car.

Smoother ride, better pick up and acceleration are the more noticeable ones.

Haha. Just did mine today at BT. I think it's bcos of the mineral oil change. ^^

Lol. Booked the 8am slot thought I'm the earliest but reached there already long queue. Tried to book LK but fully booked.

Ceramic Pro. So far have not read a single bad review on them. Very satisfied with my ride too. Practically don't need to wash car for a whole week and it still looks kilat kilat and clean.

 

I had my PPS done but when after the rain, there will be dust patches.  Thought PPS is dust repellant?  Wondering maybe pps not done at all but collected money from me....   How to check whether PPS was done?  I just dropped my car and went off.  5 hours later then they called me to can collect. but really .... 3 coats can be done 5 hours?
