the insulation is also different for S. S and Hybrid have the same insulation.

 

Also if you want original seat covers, the S have better seat covers than X.

 

The difference is only $3K

 

was quoted +$4k for S... now most impt is car trade-in price & availability of S models from PI...

i think the combo is like old merc b class, n the type n contour of fabric portion will not attract as much dust as compared to a flat cloth surface.

so minus away the bodykit & rims... is the difference still worth the paddle shifters? & how often gonna use it... hmmm....

 

was actually quite deadest on the S model.. but seems a lot of PI no stock & need to indent...

personally i felt it's worth it cos paddle shift not possible to install aftermkt, at least i havent heard of it here. n i oso like to shift gears myself when negotiatin bend, travelin up / down slope, or in busier traffic.

 

n u get orig 2-tone old-b-class upholstery, orig metal pedal w rubber studs, better insulation, the many-X-model-owner-like-to-have orig s model rims, gloss finish wheel arc trims n side skirts, alum smooth finishing roof rack iirc.

 

if i should decide to get vezel, s model for me definitely.

original metal pedal i like...so im getting it via my friend in thailand for 700thb (30+sgd?) from authorised honda dealer.

better insulation - definitely a good to have.

paddle shift - im indifferent....

S model rims - i hate that design.

gloss finish wheel arc - somehow i feel the plastic fender arc give the car a better rugged look which i prefer

roof rack - yes. look nice! think after mkt cost about 300sgd or so..

 

so for buyer like me, i think they prefer X model..in fact most dealers think that way too, thus there are limited S models around...haha....

Just got a call from my PI that my loan is approved. Target date to collect car is next Wednesday.

 

Here's the details of my deal.

Vezel X package (white)

Booked on 2 Mar

HU - Pioneer 5750

Free audio control (installed in japan)

Free tonneau cover (soft type from japan)

Reverse camera

Floor mats

Fabric seats (my CO don't like leather)

$2000 discount (usually $3k for express collection but only need to pay $1k)

 

Didn't really negotiate for more accessories. Rather take the 2k discount.

found a distributor online IROAD V7 cash and carry at $268 with warranty w/o installation...stock kena grabbed very fast by dealers who sell at higher price, or ask to top up 300 or 500 to "upgrade" package. Can call in to enquire next shipment to be informed once in to grab fast

actually, this is the controversial part, did not manage to find any documentation that states the Vezel "S" type has improved insulation over the "G" and "X".

 

please do not misunderstand my intent, not doubt on your claim but like to know specifically where is this "insulation" applied in the vehicle.

ya, lmited S model around... I see most PIs having X... S need to indent...

Hi any vezel car owner notice the radiator fan switch on and off abt every 6 second while waiting at junction. And not low speed with aircon switch on. Also with aircon switch off for abt 5 min. The radiator fan did not switch on to high speed to cool radiator down. Any 1 can advise on this 2 issuses. Thank u.
