nowadays, full back needs to chiong up and chiong down, I think that they are peaked around 28 yr old. After that decline in performance is inevitable, just like pool's GJ [lipsrsealed]

Not really la, Ashley cole managed to chiong up and down for many many years.

Spanish Daily Diario De Seville confirm that Alberto Moreno will be sold to LFC imminently and will NOT be part of their Super Cup Squad. The final fee for Moreno will be between €17m-€18m with €2m in addons based on performance

Reina signing for Bayern. Good move for him.

http://m.bbc.com/sport/football/28669117

Manquillo done medical (don't want to say passed now after Remy's cass) and should be leaning on something soon. Moreno very close now according to Echo. £16m

Not good either, surely Mignolet is more easy to fight for starting place for.

I think Reina got no choice cos he burn the bridge with BR when loan to Napoli.

Good business for Bayern thou.

As mentioned few days ago, wage demand of Bony could be an issue. Echo is reporting it now:

A move for Bony appears unlikely at this point, with LFC put off both by the asking price, which would be around £20m,and wage demands. (Echo)

Yes, that open letter was the killer. Bridge was burnt. He knew Guardiola during their Barcelona days I think. £2.5m for an experience back up is certainly worth. Reina don't mind being back up at Bayern, but not in Pool. Mentioned before, dislodged No.1 usually will leave.

Mig's position is in no way cemented. Hearing BR not very happy with his commanding of the area. He will have to step up on that this season. Else I expect Pool will sign a new No.1 soon

And Gerrard, Giggs and Scholes too...

well.

nothing against scholes and giggs but it's easier to stay at a club long term when you're winning and dominating.

Shearer and le tiessier forgo the chance for silverware and honours in order to play for their favorite club...

that's the main difference.

Petr Cech anyone?

Don't mind if his wage is not high and we sign a young keeper ready to take over when Cech is done.

But let's give Mig some more time. Maybe he will perform better with a tougher defense line in front of him

He will be overseeing a new generation of referees. So there will be quite a number of Mini Howard around...

IMO, the worst refs in EPL are Chris Foy, Phil Dowd.

Mark Clattenburg n Mike Dean sometimes not consistent as well.

Howard Webb not so bad although he seems to lean towards United but which ref doesn't esp during old Fergie's time!
