Tigershark1976 Turbocharged July 26, 2014 Share July 26, 2014 Been pumping RON92 on my Toyota Vios FL since the day we bought the car. Now car already 8yrs old. No problem so far other than wear and tear parts. By pumping higher RON that is not indicated by the manufacturer manual doesn't give u the extra horsepower or whatever shit. Tested and proven by so many people out there. Yup, support, me driving vios... have been pumping Ron92 since day 1... Sometimes 95/97 when I am in Malaysia (no 92). I have no problem with the engine. For those who want smoother ride, try 2 stroke oil (2 cycle oil) but make sure its min TCW3 or Jaso FD rated at 1:500 ratio. The result is very obvios, very smooth and quiet engine. FC wise, not much changes cause its more of Upper cylinder lubrication (UCL) Google around to find out more, plenty of discussion in BITOGs as well.

Tommisan 4th Gear July 30, 2014 Share July 30, 2014 (edited) After a few more tanks, FC hovers around 8.0 km/l with heavy acceleration, 60% highway. 10.5km/l with ease on pedal and 80% highway. Before using techron concentrate, FC was never better than 9.5km/l with 80% highway and ease on pedal. Will be using the second bottle after the next 5000km, hope to gain slightly more. Divers 2nd Gear August 1, 2014 Share August 1, 2014 (edited) Sometime using these kind of cleaner will drop fc for the first tank, it's normal cos of the cleaning effect, maybe 2-3 tank also drop After try so many of these before Come to realise sometime good engine oil at shorter interval and pumping 98 Ron is all u need. If need add ingredient, klear karbon Klear karbon. Good? Dear all, For review on using techron concentrate. I poured in the contents to an almost empty tank according to instructions. 1) First tank } Gained 40km 2) Second tank} Back to average mileage 3) Third tank} Still monitoring, but based from what I foresee. It seems like worse than average. Minus 50km. 4) Fourth tank} Will feedback again Minus 25km. Mileage base on 70% highway and 30% normal road. Gentle acceleration. Maybe before putting additives, fuel injector,a bit choke, after additives, all clear....full injection power, more fuel is send into the engine. Sg2303 2nd Gear August 29, 2014 Share August 29, 2014 Final update:Prior to using MazNitro, f/c reads 10.5km/l - 10.7km/l (readings from my onboard computer)After 1st bottle: f/c reads 10.3km/lAfter 2nd bottle: f/c reads 10.2km/lAfter 3rd bottle: f/c reads 10.5km/l4th refuel: f/c reads 10.6km/l5th refuel: f/c reads 10.5km/lIn addition, 2 other cars which I used the product on also did not register difference in the f/c. All cars are in their 5th year, mileage between 70k km and 100k km.For info, I bought 3 packs, total 9 bottles.I was under the impression that 1 bottle is sufficient for results to be seen. But seemed like 3 bottles is not sufficient too.I am waiting to try the techron which I bought months ago. Hopefully there will be results this time round.
Pms 3rd Gear August 29, 2014 Share August 29, 2014 (edited) I have a question for all you guys who are testing. Did you personally pump full yourself or let the pump attendant fill up? I get poor milage when the pump attendant fill up. Obviously they dont fill really full. They usually may or may not topup a bit more after the nozzle cut out. Sg2303 2nd Gear September 19, 2014 Share September 19, 2014 (edited) Just to update: Used techron and f/c read 10.6km/l 1 tank after techron, f/c read 10.7km/l Conclusion: Additives don't work for my car. Either my car system is very clean, or it is beyond salvage. Butt dyno also didn't detect change in power. Either car is very good or bad beyond salvage, or butt is oblivious to changes. Waste money only. Edited September 19, 2014 by Sg2303 ↡ Advertisement
