Thanks for sharing. Sounds like you arranged for the solar film yourself. Mine was arranged my TE, so did not have a chance to meet the local installer.

Hi All,

I book my M5 in early June, 6 bid guarantied, and got it on the second bid (yesterday). I was following this tread since I made my booking, and have learnt quite a bid from fellow owner here.

Hope to learnt more from the fellow owners here. I am also looking around Taobao and realized there are quite a bit of accessories.

Estimate to collect in 2 to 3 weeks from now. Saw some bros here trying to organize some coffee session for M5 owner, thought that's a good idea, as there are really not many Mazda MPV around.

Cheers all.

Hi All,

Got my M5 on the 7th of July and is now 1st week into it. Compare to my earlier ride (Toyota Wish 2.0), Wish has more power on the 1st and 2nd gear, and therefore can pick up faster, but, once moving off, M5 is smoother, and quieter.

The FC appaers to be high now, but, I guess I need to run in before i could compare. Wish, I am getting 11 to 12 KM/L, more 11.5 km.

My children simply love the sliding doors and the sunroof (at least for now).

My only concern (in the long run), is the iStop, don't know if my battery and starter motor will have a higher wear and tear or not?

When I made my booking, there was no option for standard or premium, so, I got the leather seats, front camera and reverse camera, window film and 3 yrs / 60K servicng, Pioneer ICE with GPS.

Overall, thus far, love the car.

Anyone installed shades on their car? The solar film installed is too thin and can feel the heat during day time. I saw laser shades and it can be installed without any clip or modification as its uses magnet to stick on the car window frame. Anyone tried it before?

I got mine on the 4th Jul. Agreed with your assessment. At low speed the car feel heavy. Once cruising speed its quite easy and comfy to drive. Love the car for the price that I got for an MPV ($108K).

Do you need to install clip for the shades? I was quoted $180 for Laser Shades 6Pcs and add $70 for rear windscreen. One thing I like they dont require us to install track or clips to install. I saw other forums did a group buy and got additional discount. Anyone interested?

Does it include shades for the 3rd row, including the rear windscreen?

Yes. Every window except the rear wind screen. Later I try to take more photos and post...

Mine got a few "groove" sticked onto the car to "hold" the shade better.

See the photos that I have posted.

What I like is these shades are customize for M5 so fit the window shape perfectly....

Anyone got M5 scuff plate (with LED) lobang?

Tong Lee Wee has no stocks now..
