Hybridcar 3rd Gear August 6, 2014 Share August 6, 2014 those who r hoping for a big drop in COE in the next few mths, then it's a hope or luck. coz big numbers of COE quota r only likely coming in frm middle or later next yr. so I guess between now till middle or later NEXT year... LTA scholar already start brain storming how to make sure the COE does not plummet drastically.... my coe ending jan, looking for renewal of 5 years, monitoring closely now. Budget about 30k only prevailing quote premium. doing sales, no choice got to own a car. bro, I pray for you hoping the COE doesn't climb up any further.. You never know, coe drop to 20k might happen again?! Matrix0405 5th Gear August 6, 2014 Share August 6, 2014 Looks like prices are going up again. Open and B are inching back to $70K, and A will follow them north. Which means, 2nd hand car dealers can increase their prices.
3ply 1st Gear August 6, 2014 Share August 6, 2014 I still think the Govt will 'ensure' COE prices will be low just before the next GE. So next year and 2016 will see low COE prices. Hopefully.

Dafansu Turbocharged August 6, 2014 Share August 6, 2014 scrap value amortize over 5 years leh 7k only, still more worth than new car. I still think the Govt will 'ensure' COE prices will be low just before the next GE. So next year and 2016 will see low COE prices. Hopefully. with higher overall population, reduced number of COEs and better salary for workers in Singapore (home team just got 10--12% increase), I think it will be difficult t be low.
