Hmm maybe it really is the transmission. Anyways, any levorg owners can confirm whether wrx front grill and lip are able to fit on the levorg? the stock front grill of levorg looks rather uninspiring lol

Rex parts cannot fit the Levorg, but they have their own WRX styled grilled and front lip kit.

You can check out the online store at their Japanese site. MI bring in some of those too...

What is a response ring? As for BOV, based on experience I doubt it will improve response. You mean to say you got the throttle mapping changed?

I thought the i S and S# mode already changes the mapping? Please share more...you have a link?

Wonder if its compatible with the Forester XT.

The response ring for air intake. BOV is from coto sport made for Subaru. It's org part that this maker enhance the org bypass BOV with a better one. Looks exactly like the org. Forester has available too, just buy online from jap. Go FB my pics are there. FYI I didn't do any mapping yet. Keep at stock Edited by Wishfever

BOV no noise. It's not aftermarket type. All these installed in my ride. Did some research n these sure enhance the throttle behavior.

Thanks for sharing!

I went to the website for response ring... Doesn't the ring constricts the air intake pipe? Not sure how that will help with car performance.

U can join in FB : Levorg Singapore for my posts done on the car.

I've been lurking in the facebook page for awhile and seen your nice panda levorg haha. Considering all the mods that you have done, are you still under MI warranty? I am very interested in performance mods for the levorg

I actually don't bother the warranty void. Cos buying a car in Sg cetainly already causes big holes in the pockets and so many restrictions, yet have to factor in these n those, now where's the enjoyment to mod to ur needs n passion for the car?

Of cos $ is involved for such mods n if you are going to keep that modded car for years to come then do so within your means.

Btw not the whole car will void warranty, depends what type of mods u have done. Lol

Well said. The itch for mod is strong. Anyways, do Levorgs in Singapore have blind spot monitoring? didn't notice it during the testdrive

Nope. But can add on with an aftermarket type. Can adopt Toyota BSM system to it. I m doing so.

(sorry meant to quote Wishfever)

So you're suggesting that the response ring creates a constriction in the airflow such that when you floor the throttle, the engine's air intake needs creates a vacuum that ends up causing more/higher velocity air to come through?

That's the opposite of how in the Group A days, the FIA used to impose turbo restrictor plates to limit the horsepower of the cars.

I'd love for this "response ring" to be dyno tested against a stock Levorg.

It narrows the airflow to boost the air intake. Add in the BOV improved further

I can't post pic here. Go FB to look at our Levorg group. The description in Japanese thou but with the output dyno graph
