Pocus Turbocharged October 16, 2014 Share October 16, 2014 the SAR21 already come standard with a 1.5x built-in scope. this is a AR15. M16 comes with a forward assist. Actually earlier versions of M16 doesn't come with forward assists too, it's only added in the M16A1 (or S1 if You prefer) which is what we were using. AR15 cannot fire full auto except for the carbine which is CAR15 and used by SAF. Dun think SAF got AR15 but I know police used to have them. As for the pic, can't tell without looking at the bolt carrier. ↡ Advertisement
Vega Turbocharged October 16, 2014 Share October 16, 2014 SAR21 got 3x sharpshooter variant. Forward assist is mean for lousy designed weapon. I heard about the 3x scope on a SAR21 but never see before. the only thing I like about the M16 vs the SAR21 is the lighter weight. SAR21 is front heavy which makes it very uncomfortable to carry and aim. luckily, my personal weapon is a carbine. good for soc and doing guard duty. In fact, he is the one that told us one of the diff b/w the 15 and the 16 is the forward assist which i still remember till today.

Evillusion Supersonic October 16, 2014 Share October 16, 2014 May I ask during your time Sharpshooter use what gun? Now is a SAR wif high zoom scope M16S1 with attached scope. Moet of the SS will usually keep the scope in the fullpack for prolonged exercise, coastal training and those exercises that are longer than 2 days as it is a rather sensitive piece of equipment. The 1206 is also a killer that they do not want to pay! my fav assault rifle i still prefer the m16 eventhough its just a 5.56mm compare to the ak 7.62. M16 is more accurate at a longer distant.Half blind got excuse to use hands gropesakali accidently grope the lau encik.....mati!

M16 from butt to foresight too long lar.... Difficult to conceal... HK MP5 better, can conceal under jacket although the max range is 250 meters.. HK MP5 better, can conceal under jacket although the max range is 250 meters.. thats why its more accurate at distance......maybe ns army men during my were trained using the m16 as the primary weapon.....thats why i am more comfortable with it. For close quarter combat mp5 is a better choice.

M16 is not suitable for SG type of war-fare, too many housing blocks & trees and not much open field to kill enemy from a distant of 400 meters... M16 has to hold down by both hands & take aim in order to maximise its fire power. It cannot shoot from hip level unless doing a swipe from left to right...
