Always go used, test, pay and take over as-is almost immediately. Minor issue, fix it. Major issue, scrap or export it.

$272888 for my model, yes 8k for first 100 units as launch discount. Overtrade 12k n plus some sweetener from my SE. Calculated this E class almost 22k depre per year.

1, W213 taken them 48mths to develop n well tested b4 they put it on e road. Unlike Samsung Note 7 hor lol

2, I enjoyed 8k extra discount on launching.

3, basically whatever standard items are there will be there. Anything extra u need to top up. Even in McDonald's u need to upsize to get more.

4, I enjoy going for new launch like my CLA 3yrs ago. Now just nice on E Class for replacement. Good discount on clearing stock may be yes. But e biggest factor is COE price that plays e part.

Abv just my personal opinion.

48th to develop but the mass production is the real test. making test piece vs making million production pieces is different. in engineering we are talking about accuracy and repeatability. sorry me engineer trained. 

u are right COE plays a part so what ever launch discount doesnt mean the best deal too. as for the items.. last i buy my E the reverse camera is locally fitted then the last batch of E is factory fitted. you get up size at no cost.

just enjoy your ride. is a nice car. the only problem i am not sure if it was resolve is the the tilting of the mirror when reverse. but my E and A has this problem of not returning to the original position when from reverse to drive. you can try by pressing the memory again and see if it moves. if u go forum u will see problem by many merc driver.

welcome. my both car also under warranty but the problem i very heng.. it is intermittent . everytime go in no problem come out got problem. they reset the software then ok but came back again later. so i just disable it totally.. i went to forum and found some ppl also have this problem. happy that u no such problem. E new class seats are very comfortable.. good choice ..

the S class seats are the best.. better than osim.. easily fall asleep

btw Is Burmester standard? is it true all new E class has no DVD player?

My S (not in the anatomical sense) also gave me quite some electronical problems. Luckily they can be fixed. The seats are good.

Are u aware that if u switch your side mirror control to e right, e left mirror will never tilt down.

I only switch to e control to left when my left side is road kerb to avoid rims damage.

Yes new E seats are nice n comfortable especially with nappa leather on exclusive model.

Hmmm... S with massage chair fall asleep nvm. It will pull to roadside n stop by itself to wait for TP to come n wake him up. Lucky mine without massage chair. lol

Yes, our previous Merc too only L side tilt down....so wife not happy, prefer Japanese cars where both sides tilt down.

However, your 360 view (top down) camera may solve this issue - protect your expensive rims.

Suggest try high speed cruise on NS highway....its meant to be there (Autobahn)..in my opinion lexus cant come close for that.

The drowsiness alert good reminder too, nice to see the cup of coffee sign.

Also good to appreciate how good your new LED lights (if yours Multibeam - better still).

 

The massage chair on contrary will not make you feel sleepy, should make you more alert and refresh. But dont expect Osim standard. Its so so only.

I heard next batch will be Feb next year after CNY.

 

No, not Burmeister nor even harman kardon, just a black speakers cover. Asked SE said this is factory fitted speakers n don't know what brand. I don't rule out it could be China made.

 

Yes. Without CD nor DVD player, SE said ppl don't use CD or DVD nowadays, USB cables provided for MP3 or video via mobile phone. Soon CD & DVD will be like cassette player. You guys agree??

Small screen, speedometer doesn't come in digital.
