well the credit companies act willing to loan up to 35% of your monthly income. so assuming 10k depn car, 1 month less than 1k, u can see how easy it is to still own a car.

Like that I can easily get a F10 or M series. [laugh][laugh]

Just looking at onemotoring records. More than 300 unsuccessful bids in CAT A. These bids will carry forward to Wed, Although there is an increment in quota of around 289, will this be enough to bring coe prices down by 5%? Coupled with the new orders coming in, dun be surprised if coe shoots up.

To be realistic, even though more cars will be reaching their 10 year timespan, and we will keep hearing from government that more COE will be release in next quarter or so, we must always remember that the government never release these figures with a reference point of how many cars are projected to be scrapped. Couple that with the fact that the forcasted number is always lagging behind actual figures, it is inevitable that the rate of grow of cars will continue to be cut by the government, The best thing about this is government will seem to be increasing number of COE but in reality the total rate of increase may be negative.

With the increasing number of low power low cc luxury cars being introduced into the market, the COE can only go in one direction in the long term - UP even though we may see short term fall of Cat A COE - at least u til the next variable of new road tax structure based on usage is out.

Just a friendly reminder.. those who choose to remain quiet might be the ones doing you in. Your post is just waiting to be flamed.

im sure you can [nod]

At the moment, I can't decide what I want. [laugh]

I am inclined towards the GTI or F30 but might consider the current model which you are driving now.

Also, I prefer to continue to stash my cash in the safe for the moment. [:p]

Can afford is good. I remember someone post pics of himself wearing some luxury watches to prove to us he really can afford. Actually no need to go to such an extent.

slowly la anyw your car stil quite new. f30 (320i) sweet gearbox, smooth and unhesitant but noisy, comfort low. simply makes the f10 (made in Germany) seem a big leap in quality and feel.

moral: skip the f30 n go for the f10! haha

At least dropped $3K for Cat A n $6k for Cat B... so by year end should be $50k for A and $55k for B?

With 0.25% growth rate till 2018, probably not? Cos if dropped by 10-20K, already got many will chiong in to buy jacking the price up again else hard to ensure coe bid. With this round's dip, i am sure many would be on the side line waiting
