Anyone updated the GPS map in the HU navigation system? Can BM update the map?

I have the same question. [rolleyes]

On the steering wheel, there is a rectangle button the right.

Press and hold until the FC reset.

Off hand can't remember what the marking.

Settings...can't remember.

Like smart phones, now you have SMART CARS (same concept). But being too smart can be irritating like someone mention drving in MSCP and in tunnels.

Tunnel is Ok. It is the MSCP which is irritating.

The issue is that the HU don't support the configuration of the settings.

Cool. Didn't know the average FC indicator can be reset.

Accuracy aside, I find that is a good tool to measure FC and learning the characteristics of the Altis.

Recently, I reset before driving on the expressway, after exiting, the FC shows 22km/L. [cool]

As I can't edit my previous posts, I thought it will be good to consolidate my bits of info update.

Bits of info update
1. For Night driving AYE->MCE->KPE, Altis dashboard indicates about 22.2km/L [cool]
2. Coolant temperature maintains around 90 degrees Celsius.
3. Battery Voltage maintains around 13.7 volts.
4. Low fuel indicator to full tank - approx. 47 litres. If tank size is 55L, approx 8 litres reserve ( not verified )

Press and hold the "DISP" button to reset.

I believe settings mode can be adjusted by pressimg the right button on the steering wheel.

hope that helps.

I tried this morning - on SETTINGS, press and hold DISP.

Two additional options available - UNIT and ECO.

For Unit, the choice is either km/L or L/100km.

For ECO, the choice is have the indicator ON or OFF.

btw you can have another option of adjusting the brightness of the dashboard.

But first you need to turn on your headlights (low park lights is fine).

Then toggle DISP switch till you see the page with the brightness settings, press and hold the DISP switch until you reach your desired level of brightness.

Seem the non-LED scuff plate no more selling at Toyota Accessories Store. Only selling LED version.

Is the previous G10 Altis floor mat same size as the new Altis mat?

I only can comment that the G11 mat wears out very fast. Can claim warranty?

Go for 3M car mat.

Pick a colour you like and your car interior will feel totally different.

I want to reuse my 3M customize floor mat from my current G10 to G11 Altis. Are the mat same size and shape?

The G11 driver mat has 2 lock down which I prefer which is why I hesitated with the 3M mats. I do agree with you the big improvement the 3M mat will give. I also feel like getting the dash cover from the vendor here.

All are liquid.

The conventional one got filler caps to make it easier to top up.

The Maintenance free type is harder to top up.

My experience with conventional ones is that it is longer lasting. 3++ years IIRC.

I had quite bad experiences with the MF ones.

IMHO, the conventional ones are preferred in hot climates.
