Just to check. Did you guys receive any documents to certify that you have the 5 yr free servicing? I cannot find anything on my sales agreement.

Should be printed on the contact after securing your COE when you pay the downpayment, insurance etc. Anyway, should be in their system.

Neutral Newbie

Only useful if you intend to boost your turbo to 1.5bar and above. It's suppose to vent gas from the compressor out to the atmosphere, preventing compressor surge.

Our stock dump valve is good enough for the job in stock condition.

There is a dealer here who deals cusco parts, but not sure if they Mark up the price alot. May explore buying online and shipping here instead but will research more once I get my ride.

Thank you Bro Pocus

Send my FXT to MI for 1,000KM maintenance this morning. Checked on the inhouse Front Strut Bar, priced at $650 including installation. Price is really expensive in comparison to JDM ones on ebay and cusco price.

Any bros have experience with or knowledge of Strut Bars? are there any difference between original Subaru ones and others? Please kindly share experience.

Different struct have different rating, some make the car stiffer than others. STI is Subaru sporting arm and not really makers of these parts, most probably oem, you are paying more for the brand. (Just like ralliart mufflers are oem from HKS)

The link you posted is not for our Forester, it's for SH which is prev gen.

Our XT is SJG or SJ5 for premium.

I got it from tao bao @ about 110 + shipping (Vpost) + installation 100.

Nice! Mind sharing if you installed it with a switch or if you just tap the existing DRL setup? :)

It was an option and i choosed to have a switch since it is illegal in SG. I ask for the installer ctc from MI sales as the bumper got to be removed. i want the installer who is familiar with the job.

Drl lights up so long i turn on my regular head light. As such, I can turn it off with the extra switch installed.

DRL goes off when you turn on your head lights?

It's a choice and i choosen that sequence.

i wanted it to be on whenever i drive, simply controlled by the regular headlight switch. Under any other situation which i can turn it off with the add on switch. Eg, annual vehical check, TP checks or road block.... etc

Ah icic. Functions like the normal drl, but have the option to switch it off if you want to. Neat.

I've half a mind to diy the installation. Parts coming in from taobao as we speak!

Does your drl dims when you turn on your main head lights? Meaning day time full power, night time turn on headlights reduced power... Have installation / final setup pictures to share?

Was told no more 5 year free servicing from this round.

Interesting. Still dunno how the 5year servicing will work. Service credits/ vouchers? I would prefer it not to be voucher like. Vouchers very lehchey. Will ask more during collection!

Not voucher, service book will record 5yrs when you collect your car. It's in their system too.

No vouchers, no service credits. Just make a service appointment, drive in, servicing will be done, zero cost involved. The 5 year servicing is captured in their system.

DO note that the servicing includes labor and parts which are mentioned in the manufacturer service recommendation, not those wear & tear parts like brake pads, etc.

Cheers.

That's probably worth about $3K to $4K of value. Hope they will bring this back again for undecided buyers.
