If you are here you are already tempted.....haaaa..... I am, just that I not getting a good deal at the moment.... so the head still holding on... to be frank, if I can finally tell myself to forget about conti, then I am left with only Madza 5 and XT. Head telling me Madza 5 cause lower cost.... heart telling me XT cause better car overall..... [shakehead][knife]

Basket just now at the showroom, met one Bro... he order the XT as well...... told me straight no need think just buy, very good car, good value.... haaaa..........

Bro.. you head says Masada 5 coz cheaper than FXT.. and then your ears want conti coz you can't forget..

me thinks you shud not waste time with the FXT jus go with the Macan.. only $235k.. save the trouble you drive a conti fxt. Swee..

Bro if I got 235k I buy 1 XT and 1 Mazda 5 already... haaaa

Think Mazda 5 better... Can seat 7 person. Can consider Toyota Sienta too.. FXT drink petrol...

Thanks bro, doing my sum... see if the extra $100 or so petrol will kill me or not... haaa.... Sienta inside too narrow...

Hi all,

Just to share my FC.

FNA driving for 1.5 years.

60% High way 40% City- Always hit between 600-650 KM per tank wtih normal driving.

I feel that FC is all depend on driving pattern, to me I find FNA really good FC compare to my previous 1.5l Impreza (only manage 400+ each tank ).

BTW how can I join the FB group or watsaap group?

How much you pumped? Your FC is? FNA average 12km/l?

Mazda 5/Sienta is MPV-type lah.  Forester is SUV.  Different segment.  Want people mover don't get SUV type.

Neutral Newbie

Same like most bro..... $122,800.... @ 2.78%.... but the trade in for my ride a diff of $7000 from Madza.

I just booked a FNA last weekend, the SE only gave me 1K NG discount from G $112800. He told me no more 1k ex stock and 1k  8 bid NG discount.  May i know what is the further discount of 2k you got? Thanks a lot.

If u always carry 5-7 passengers including yourself, u will likely be struggling to move the Mazda 5 which is already quite heavy. Fc will suffer. If u have just nice 5 passengers including yourself, fxt makes more sense. With a much higher low end torque, it quite effortless to move all this weight and fc will be very decent compared to Mazda 5.

I did consider compact mpvs like Mazda 5, touran etc, but I find the 3 row seats to be totally useless as too small and unsafe for my family members. Larger mpvs like sharan, odyssey, estima makes more sense to carry 5 or more comfortably. Of course, low end torque plays an important part in moving this huge amount of weight. A 2.4 or 2.5 na 4 cylinder is out of the question for me. Peak torque comes in too late.

I've 5 in my family so the fxt makes perfect sense for me. 2 are infants and the 2 large size baby seats fit nicely at the back with sufficient space for my helper to sit in the middle. I also have 2 large single strollers, 1 grocery trolley and other stuff in the boot as well. Lol.

Trade/in - $2K, Promo - $2K, NG -$1K. Loans can ask for more K's or freebies??

some M say that 3rd row can use for "ses" coz "ses" no need big space... :a-panic:

Bro i family of 4, 2 young kid. Occasionally my in laws will travel with us. So total 4 adults include me and 2 kids, that's why initially looking at MPV. But agree Mid size MPV 3rd row cmi and not safe for young kids. End up actually only 2 rows of seats will be use. I like the big boot space though. Large size MPV out of budget. So next option look for large SUV like the forester.

The other option is put a roof rack basket, room for 2 more "passengers" upstairs.... I remember seeing a road show in another country where they fitted a hut on the roof rack of FXT.
