As they stated, depends on one's driving style, traffic flow and our right leg. Forester not that sulky on FC afterall.

This is called objection. So salesman must counter objections in order to close deals. If they agreed with everything then no need to close deal liao.

Anyway I just finished 2 tanks of petrol and going in for 1k servicing tomorrow.

First tank of petrol I got 640km with 2 bars left. Can't find the receipt for 1st tank.

I drove until 654km then pumped my second tank with 48.23litres of SPC 95. First tank also SPC 95.

This evening got home parked the car and just nice dropped to 2 bars and got 600km.

FNA with this mileage looked good to me.

Driving pattern Mon to Fri 80% Highway 20% non-highway

Weekend mostly neighbourhood and city.

Mon -Fri on highway Pasir Ris to Woodland, Speed 80-100km/h but 2 locations usually slow traffic on TPE(sengkang to Jln kayu) and SLE(Lentor to Speed camera) can only drive avg 60km/h. Back home slow traffic from Woodland ave 12 to SLE speed camera avg 60-70km/h. Then 80-100km/h all the way.

Not sure about FXT.

FC is really based on individual style of driving.

Ur traffic condition good le. Some are salesperson alot ofneighbour, so mileage much worse

Mazda/Toyota SE gambled u wont buy FXT as it is more expensive and discourage you on FNA poor FC and get u to buy their mazda and Toyota

I think in their case, maybe the SE dream car is FXT too. Wahaha

mrhan1982 FXT able to get 12.5km/l

gm1231s FNA able to get 13.5km/l

Very impressive indeed.

I think that is in a very ideal conditions.

Most FXT owner are getting around 8 - 10km/l.

My average for almost 8mth is about 9.6km/l manual calculations . 60% highway. 90% S mode.

Think Carefully before u commit. Coz FC is definitely Jiak you than the Mazda, Toyotas.. trust me.. only get 7km/l for the wrx.. don't buy don't buy.. as for the fxt also better don't buy coz the FC a staggering 0.275km/l worse off compared to the Toyota. All this subie owners Seow fellows.. got too much$$$ that's why don't bother FC.

Yup. My precious avg is about 10-11km/L. The 12 plus is becoz I'm on 80% hw and mainly in kpe tunnels using cruise control. Traffic conditions play a bit part. I'm 99.5% I mode. Ha.

If drive around 1500-200km a month. Fc is negligible actually. I already covered 3k km plus for Nov... even I can get 12.5km/L, the petrol bill still Siong....but well, I'm enjoying every minute in my fxt. Imagine I have to cover all those km in a more humble car, the experience will be more taxing as a driver..

I am on I mode all the time but do switch to S mode when I feel like having fun.

As mentioned in this thread that S mode was more efficient, I tested out last week.

Based on my Mon-Fri driving. The morning trip to work usually gave me 6.1 to 6.3 litres/100km on I mode.

Last week I tried S Mode for the whole journey, it gave me 7 litres/100km for the trip.

I don't doubt the instructor at the New owner workshop who said S mode is more fuel efficient.

But somehow personally I feel "I" mode more fuel efficient during my daily highway drive to work.

In S mode the car wants to rush forward and zig zag & overtaking in highway is so much more responsive and fun.

Anyway I only did 1 full trip with S mode. My 1 data point may not be accurately after all. Will try out on 1 full tank to conclude.

COE normally will be lower after CNY.

If you can wait, just wait.

A lot of people are waiting (Gahman also knows everyone waiting).

Don't think there would be that drastic change in price/COE.

Of course not expecting drastic drop, but expect to be lower than before all this holiday season period. That is always the case previously.

I booked my car this year during CNY weekend, I got the lowest price ever for the FXT model. But I got my COE on the 4th bid which is $9k higher than the COE price MI base on for my car selling price.
