Just curious

If the AD COE rebate level is 58K, what would be the likely price that they will bid for u?

Mine is non-guaranteed. [confused]

I think you get your COE as only $3k higher than rebate level, correct?

wah, these r very high rebate level.

was it generous of them ? or they mis-read COE direction ? or just want to sell their cars ?

congrats to those who got rebate !

Haha, I think instead of give discount direct to the car price, they indirectly give higher COE rebate. So ultimately the buyer still enjoy lower car price. Like Hyundai Accent (A) becomes $97,988 after rebate discount.

If you follow Nissan QashQai pricing for 1.2T, you will notice the order book post CNY is cleared.

Any Nissan QQ buyers can confirm ?

When I was asking during CNY, TCM rebate was only $45k (COE then was $57k) for QQ, so not sure how aggressive they would have bidded for those CNY orders ?

Unbelievable... Bought Toyota Altis during CNY at 107XXX non guaranteed. 1st bid 58XXX, 2nd,3rd and 4th no bid 5th bid 58XXX, 6th bid 58XXX. My SE ask me either topup 6k for non guaranteed COE or 8k for guaranteed COE. Thinking that COE should be down, i opted for the 6k topup. 1st bid 58XXX 2nd bid which is today 58XXX, still can't secure my car.... COE down $5,590 after i top up and yet i can't get my COE. Lan lan have to suck thumb....

I bought hyundai. The dealer said 6 bid guaranteed COE. I was like wth. What if cannot get. Can you write in black and white that it's one bid guarantee. They say cannot. ... I was so scared.. But the COE rebate was in black and white 67k.

Checked today, agent bidded $67398 for me. Was still worried that cannot get.

Nope my accentaccent (MT) becomes $90989 after all in with five years warranty, three years servicing and one year road tax. Edited by Ivan_06

Accent with car cost of $81950 still earns them a respectable $16k. Good money, happy customers.

Oops, for ivan06 they only earn $9K.

Interetsing. My car will only arrive early August... and AD has secured my COE. They probably do not think COE will be dropping anytime soon?

Post CNY, their raised the price to $130+k.

Last weekend, they revised it to $120+k.

It signaled that they want to sell again.

But $45k rebate... a bit too low. Most likely the contract expired.

Wow, if your downpayment of 40% of about $97,500(car price) , then after rebate, your downpayment actually got less than 40%. Or is the minimum downpayment level and loan calculated after rebate is taken into account.

Agree. When I asked, it was $117k with 45k rebate - if anyone managed to get it, that's a steal ! I dint proceed bcos TCM couldnt price the maintenance package for QQ

One week later, after budget announcement, it was $124k but dint ask about rebate.

I'm done with BM. Hopefully COE price will go up and i can't get my car. Dun mind paying extra money for another brand, just wanna get out of toyota for good.

I also unbelievable...... AD should have just added $3k and bid for you. Maybe see whether can withdraw and buy other brand in July.

there is another link at the bottom of that site that allows indiv query

Thanks Ocean

Only the bidder or the individual the bidder bid for can see the bid. You need to key the IC or company number to see the bid and revise the bid.

Thanks Bobby

Last week, i bought 118 XXX for elegance and they bid 63 XXX for me.

So for u is 107 XXX + 6 = 113 XXX so they bid $58 XXX for you loh

They bidded 58XXX 3 times when i bought the car at 106XXX. After i topup 6k when the COE was $66590 they continue to bid 58XXX for me. Whats the point of me topping up and wasting my time if i can only secure the car if COE drops below 58K?
