Was quoted RM380/pc excluding GST for PS3 of same size.

Shop is in Selangor area, not JB.

the RE003 price that i was quoted wasn't particularly cheap, i think can get cheaper elsewhere.

for some reason the introduction price of RE003 is particularly low compared to RE002, in malaysia at least.

the very early batches doesn't have threadwear rating and traction rating on them, but i believe these were genuine, probably just dont have the ratings yet..

If Selangor then not so good price for us Singaporeans. :D

Petrol $ there and back already cancel out the price difference. If need to go back to the shop for defects or claims will be [sweatdrop] Good sharing nevertheless.

Malaysia Boleh [thumbsup]

with the weak currency now and also cheap labour(cheap labour) there, we can take advantage

But I do understand from people over Boleh land they also take advantage of us

anyway is a mutual benefit

Boleh land need us to support their economy too

That is why So many Company here also hire Malaysian worker to enjoy low salary

[thumbsup]

Thanks all for the advice.

Am quoted Michelin XM2 205/55R16 (make in Thailand) for S$130/each.

Is the price reasonable ?

You should check out Typepac and Kim Hoe for the price then compare the difference.

Note that price of Typepac has not included the price of wheel change (Charge by the workshop u r going to).

For kim hoe:

All Prices Are Strictly For Online Purchases Only & Is Not Applicable For In-Store Purchase

All Tyre Purchases Will Come With:

1. Free Installation

2. Free Off-Wheel Balancing

3. Free Stainless Steel Valve Change

4. Free Nitrogen N2 Insertion (Lifetime)

5. 1 x Free Professional Car Grooming (Worth 48$, only applicable for purchased of (4) tyres)

Not related to them, just copied off their website.

You do the comparison. XM2 from Thailand. Last time I got the same thing from Yokohama Blue Earth (MIJ) ard the same pirce for my 15" from Soh Brothers. They are pro-Yokohama, why I go to them bcos they offered the cheapest Xm2 price at the time, then for a little bit more, I can get MIJ Blue earth why not..hehe

Btw for Michelin, don't if the sidewall are thicker now, last time I got a stock tyre off the Subaru which burst in contract with the kerb. seems thinner on the side wall. if there is improvement, then it good considered they are famous for their Hydro plating.

Hi guys,

I'm using PS3 and done it job really well even driving 170km/h at NS highway.

I change my stock rim to 17" with tyre at JB shop...ERA Maju.

You can contact Allen +6016 7723877.

Tyre change include free wheel alignment.

I recommend Yokohama Advan V551,one of the quieter tyres in the market. But quiet also means slightly lesser grip during rainy days.
