Hi all, booked a Elantra and got my COE on 8 Aug. My car was registered on 21 Aug. Now waiting to collect car, SE have not informed me of exact date. Those who got COE, Anyone still waiting for car delivery? My Color is white

Mine same as you except registered on 17th Aug. No news on collection date too. Silver colour.

I noticed from the posts here, buyers are usually notified of delivery on Thursday or Friday. Car collection on Friday or Saturday. Hopefully it’s the same pattern and we will be notified these 2 days. Can’t wait to get the car.

Anyone suspension got sound when passengers of 60kg+ each board the car? 2nd time going back to KMC for suspension/shock absorber issue.

Where to retrofit these? I’m keen to install the folding mirror and reverse camera

Ooo. So probably those who planned to buy Basic and retropectively upgrade to S, can look for ya or sign up as ECS member to get better advise?

Tats last Friday. 5 working days they say... So probably tomorrow or weekend

30kg also have squeaky sound.

folding mirror, reverse camera and keyless can all be done in workshop.

 

For reverse camera, i believe u can get it for less than $100

 

Folding mirror is more ex as there is a motor involved.

 

Keyless can be easily done for non-keyless car.

 

There are a few workshop that does installation for a fee if you bring your own items. 

 

It is definitely more ex to get from the shop as they would mark up the price.

 

My cousin is getting the basic model as most of the items can be done outside at a lower cost as compare to AD.

 

However some might say why go for S since all can be done outside. Well i can only say some people wants the convenience while others want to save on cost.

Are we allowed to replace the reverse camera? I don't really like the stock reverse camera.

Thanks Familymanz. Just dont wan workshop people to give me the same standard and say no time repair etc as many walk-in for servicing

I dunno of the situation now... But warranty claim should be to the related park.

 

For my accent 14yrs ago.... I can still claim for absorber even when I installed strut bar and such. Not sure any now.

 

And you have read earlier that there are ppl who upgrade to S or even Elite level of trim from basic. I'm sure they have consider the same.

 

Well, for ur concern, it's only a reverse camera that's locally fit. Shouldnt affect others unless say u relocate the whole fuse box and screw up the whole electrical system. Lol

 

My opinion nia. Ain't an expert. Maybe others can share better especially those who have filed claim or are associated with KMC
