Bike or walk to Chek Jawa.

Once at Chek Jawa, enjoy e view also hav a tower for u to climb to hav an high point view of the area/Ubin

Thought climb up ok, but don't climb down ? Climbing up is like cycling.

Up is no good, down is very no good  [laugh]

Seriously though, i have mild arthritis in my left knee. I've stopped climbing stairs unless it's just one flight. Cos of the angles involved, it's just bad for your knees.

That's why orthopaedics specialists always take the lift.

depends on the ''method'' i suppose... abit like the slower the less strain on the kneecap cartilage...

abit like cycling in off track more strenuous vs cycling in the gym... u get wat i mean hor?

swimming still the best la.. lol

Like that walking also cannot [laugh] I think on top of avoiding lazy technique, gradually work out the various muscles required for walking, climbing, so they can better protect your body rather than don't do anything.

no la... u missing the point bro..

for exercise to be effective.. a certain amount must be done to achieve effectiveness...  its the excessive and damaging nature of running/jogging  .. stair climbing etc that shld be avoided...  yes...jogging is also a bad form of exercise... treadmill isnt much better...

swimming bestest... lol

Then cycling ?

Nothing wrong with cycling. Some Ortho are cycling enthusiasts.

Only stair climbing is particularly bad for the knees. Those vertical marathons etc maybe good for your heart, but u are destroying your own knees.

If you have arthritis, u will know it as well.

Nothing gives u more problems then squatting or stair climbing.

Yup, Ubin is good for 1/2 day or full day outing, depending on how much area to be covered.

Too bad there is no overnight accommodation on the island.
