These are no use one. Only provoke the snakes to bite your brother.

I can only speak from my own experience. In past two years seen it thrice. Once was a cobra, crossing the path very fast. See people run even faster - but don't gay kia disturb them ah. They see runners everyday also scared. I've never seen them on Sundays when thousands of visitors go to treetop walk.

Then in this case quite weird to find the king cobra came out from the bush and bit the python! If the king cobra came out and bit any passer-by then trouble liao.

Probably the python confronts the cobra .. Maybe they met into each other .. If you confronts the snake face to face and tries to provoke you also will kenna snake style kungfu.

There are snakes around us .. Inside drain or parks they just don't show up in front of human very much. Just don't be too curious to provoke or confront them don't worry too much. They also scared humans everywhere and post on snaketube.

yea lo.. so many people need to catch them to make snakeoil

I remember last time there's a news about a runner died after kenna bitten by a blue coral snake.

But really, that after seeing such a huge king cobra appearing on a human traffic path, it has shaken my confidence level to run in the trail. Though I only started running trail beginning this year, I have not seen a snake yet, only once met a huge monitor lizard that wasn't scared of me when I approached in high speed.

By the time I managed to stop, I was just slightly more than arms length from the monitor lizard. I frozed, but the monitor lizard, just slowly take it's time, occasionally stopping to taste the air and finally slowly climb down into to a little stream beside. Really not scared of me..

the cobra bite liao run away.  [laugh]  [laugh]  [laugh]

I think that is how poisonous snakes operates for it's intended prey. Inject poison and wait til the prey to die.

Maybe cause you were running, so cant really react and stop on time even you see those creatures. Cause i was walking along the trial, i can see what is ahead of me lo. So when i see these creatures stop in the middle of the trial, i really dont know what should i do if they dont go away?! Lol.

Bt Timah Station to Rail Mall (just before the steel bridge across Upp Bt Timah Road) and back is around 75mins by foot.

Proper footwear is essential as some parts of the terrain are uneven. Path is generally wide enough to accommodate hikers and cyclists together. Rail Mall has a small picnic area just next to the corridor.

I believe only the bt timah station to rail mall part is still accessible. Other part of the green corridor might be closed for some construction works.

Yes, Bt Timah Station cannot reach Ghim Moh already. Stops somewhere at Old Holland Road. That stretch not so nice to walk cos a lot of construction going. Still a 60-min round trip walk though.

True, the videographers should stay further, cause what if that king cobra decided to advance towards the path than retracting back into the bush!
