Anyone found a fuse slot with FWD written on it on the under engine bonnet or fuse box.

In older Subaru, this is a feature to temporary switch to Front Wheel Drive should you have a flat tyre.

I think new Subaru's no longer have this feature.

This feature, if present, should be indicated in your car's manual.

If your car need towing, all tow trucks nowadays can tow with 4 wheels up.

wah.. didn't know got such feature.

Any bro encountered issue with the reverse cam where image shown at HU seem to be over exposure (very bright)?

so far no.. maybe haven't drive long enough yet. just find the reverse cam not very sharp.. quite poor res

The design was in area where there's no tow so you can swap your wheel to the rear and use FWD till you can change the tyres..

Some features are not in the manual..at least I cannot find the headlight washer. Also the fuse for the auto start/stop. Trying to short but not sure which cable color to short them to permanently off the start/stop.

Trying my luck, is in older model such as Forrester.

Some time it is not sharp but most of the time is OK, except in heavy downpower

Encounter 3 type before, Green, Black and Fuzzy. Bright screen can say yes as it was bright(overexpose) then turn green screen.

Neutral Newbie

Hi all,

I looking to replace my latio and I really like the outlook of the new impreza, I see a few on the road already.  can I ask the new one is it 4wd?  and the engines are 1.6cc and 2.0cc?

my fren say he go to test drive at motorimagine that time the sales tell him no turbo version for this?

what a pity, if subaru come out with a 2.0cc plus 4wd plus turbo version and put a big big air scroop on hood, I will sure buy.

current 1.6 version for both 4 & 5 doors are sub $100k.very competitive with M3 and the korean. The made in Japan and interior have the edge. I am tempted also and is checking around for a good deal. But i have yet to test drive.

if turbo and 2.0 litre, then price will be competing with many others including their own other models. IMO, better keep it this way for people like me with shallow pockets. haha

i have tested the 1.6, find the interior not bad acceptable, pick up feels better than the previous model.

quite reasonable for the price, comes with quite many accessories including the GPS navigation system, a good stereo, pick up also feels better, just feel very disappointing for the turbo models no test drive available, feel like getting a WRX than a TS .

welcome to the forum. Yes, the new Impreza is AWD (all wheel drive). both 1.6 and 2.0 are available, but longer wait for the 2.0 coz need to indent.

there is no turbo version for Impreza. in the past you have Impreza WRX as the turbo version. WRX is now standing on its own now without the badge impreza. If you like to have a turbo, you can try the Levorg which is a 1.6L turbo-charged engine. Price higher than impreza but lower than WRX.

if you want 2.0 plus 4wd plus turbo, you will be looking at the WRX and it is available. So yes, you can buy.
