Boy boy,

Nobody punting la. There could be $45k bidder inside there right now. Just that the system will still reflect $1 till the quota bids are reached. Then it will reflect the highest unsuccessful bid amount.

Go study la. Good thing I free nothing to do. If not I pinch your ear for not doing your homework

Thanks for your inputs, though I was opining that there are very few individual punters this time round, hence the premium has not moved beyond S$1 at this time as compared to the last bidding exercise.

On a separate note, it does not harm speaking in a more palatable, humble tone does it?

I hearsay that second hand dealers are putting in many bids to keep the min successful bid price higher (currently 40+k).

This is due to many resale vehicles with high coe are unsold stock and if coe drops as predicted/expected due to influx of coe coming back into the system from the high years, their used cars will lose a lot of money as they purchased them as high prices.

I wonder if there is any truth to this.

I see. Perhaps, the quota is a bit higher, so it takes a bit more time to breach the opening $1. :D

Curious.. two questions comes to mind.

What are they intending to do with the winning bids?  Which without they cannot push up the COE price.

And how they manage to rope in hundreds of people to bid, since every bid has to be in the name of an individual... ?

I saw my bid liao.. at 1344pm bid same amt $45702

Seem like they die die only willing tobid tht amount for u. U chance of securing the coe will only depend on whether the coe is green or red.
