Hmmm... i30 quite bare of features the OMV still so high?

Sorry, not sure what you mean quite bare features:

The following is found on i30 but NOT on my Q30 which has an OMV of 28k

Rear camera

Electric folding mirrors

Rear air con vents

Keyless start

Qi wireless charging

Cruise control

The only thing i know that my Q30 has that the i30 does not have is paddle shift.

One feature I find it useful in the i30 is the electric parking brake with auto hold feature. Once engaged, the amber auto hold indicator will light up and when r stopped at the traffic lights after a second or so it will turn green to indicate that the electric parking brake is engaged. U can leave yr foot off the brake pedal. I am sure this feature adds to the omv as well. Not sure if there r other cars in this price that comes equipped with this feature as well.

Your Q30 how old? Q30 = infinity is it? Wah... OMV $28,000 and don't have these? Probably due to your turbo charged engine - that's super expensive... probably you get full LED headlights front and back? A high end factory audio system with GPS? Fully electronic dash and instrument cluster? Sunroof or panoramic sunroof? Ventilated seats? Dual zone climate control? More expensive tires? Larger factory rims?

Comparisons will never end. As consumers we go for the cheaper and more value for money deal.

Plus i dont think we can compare a diesel with a petrol engine. Furthermore, $84k vs $138k. We get what we pay for. No offence to anyone whatsoever!!

Ya Infinity. Mine is the basic Q30 1.5T Diesel. LED only for the day running lights. Headlights is halogen. Don't have rear parking camera, no electric folding mirror, no keyless. Only have paddleshift. Have bluetooth connectivity for making calls but no GPS built in (but i prefer google map anyway fo thats ok). Everything else u asked also don't have.

The premium model which cost $10k more have most of these missing items (including 10 speaker BOSE sound system).

No lah, i didn't pay $138k for my Q30. Not even close. I would be crazy to pay so much for so little.

But the original question being answered here was the features of the i30 to its OMV of $18k.

True true!

Features wise, it may be lacking here and there. However i feel that we are paying for the engine.

Im sure that if it follows the full feature package, the omv will sky rocket. And im sure people wont want to pay 100k for a Hyundai small hot hatch if you compare it other competitors out there.

There's an objective value for money or not lar... very often you're paying for the badge... well if you accept that that's what you get then great!

Yeah my sentiments exactly. Back in Korea, cars are easily 25% of what we pay here.

Yeah, it was a JV provide with Merc so the underlying parts of the car is pretty good. Love the ride, handling, suspension.
