The CPA radar is not located being the giant star. It's located behind the front bumper beneath the headlamps.

This pic is for CLA, not very different across the merc range.

The smooth flat type grille star is for distronic plus radar. That's why if you have the distronic plus option you cannot have the lighted star option.

The Radar is located behind the front grille, where the giant star is

if for any reason you knocked your bumper, or the grille, or get the star really dirty, the collision assist inoperative warning will come out

so think back and see if your grille is very dirty?

or where you park , there is trolley or people bumping into your grille

or you drive on really rough roads and your car bump until the radar out of alignment

(or are you having sex on your front bonnet?)

that's why I ask the SE to do it before I collect my car. Save me the hassle of sending it in and collecting it later on.

ya totally waste of time.

You could have opted out bro..

And get a lower price too.

Personally I don't mind the grooming package. Since I am forced to take a loan, I might as well enjoy the package. Beside with careful planning there is minimal additional downtime.

Don't think they can or will discount by much when u try to bargain away the coating package.

Same, just take it since is part of the package. But personally I would not have gone for it if it means I have to fork out cash for it.

Are you on the enhanced car essential package which includes 4 x PPS?  I guess multiple coats over time will improve the protection.

Second this, the Sonax nano coating doesn't last. Mine only lasted 3 months with once per month washing. Better do ceramic or glass coating outside once exhausted the free sessions or skip it totally if you value your paint.

They advertise until looks so good. But nothing beats the feedback from the owners whose car is using sonax products Edited by RogerNg_185295
