some say . . .  when you are born naked, you go back naked too; so its a blessing if you can go without

my say . . . .

so why bother with clothes in between?

well, its certainly more convenient . . . . ?

enjoy the good life you have built everyone!

:D

The truth of the matter is we are all on borrowed time.

If I went to the doctor tomorrow and he told me I have

6 months to live. I think I have 6 months to live but I could

get knocked down by a bus the next day so I didn't have

6 months to live. Anyway if I had 6 months to live I rather

not know cos the 6 months will be hell. Everyone will look

at me as if in 6 months I will be dead. But if I was going to

be knocked by a bus tomorrow I would want to know. So

that I can avoid the bus lah.

And send my MIL instead.

:D

i hope so too! Anaemic and hyperthyroid was ruled out after a few test.....thats why even the doctors told her to rest and take things easy! If not wrong one doc told her she had a few patients with such symptoms and nearly all lead to heart-attack. One of her acquaintance's husband passed on after suffering the same ailments. Just hope that her condition is due to stress and will slowly go away! I think the pass yr had been stressful on her with our son signing on the army without our permission and volunteering for many risky courses, our daughter's struggle with her p5 and lastly me....better not go deep into this!

I'm not a cardiologist but she sounds like she has a condition known as IST - inappropriate sinus tachycardia, which is a diagnosis of exclusion (you rule out things like thyroid, anemia etc and the resting heart rate is inappropriately high eg not related to an illness).

What the doctor may have meant was that patients with very high resting heart rates have been known to suffer complications such as heart attacks, heart failure etc because the heart is pumping much faster than it should

There are drugs that can treat this, but anyway you should never trust everything you read on the internet, even from well meaning strangers. I think the best place for her to go in the public sector is the National Heart Centre

Cheers!

Good morning bro....Thank you so much for your kind information. I will try to talk to her to go and get a referral to NHC. I hope there is nothing serious about her condition that a good rest cant make it dissappear. Thank you again.

might be pheochromocytomas too so if NHC finds nothing, then better visit an endocrinologist

lol all the mbbs guys popping out.

Hmm without seeing a doctor to rule out conditions, hard to say lah. But globus hystericus (feeling of something stuck in throat) is a common feeling in patients with anxiety or psychiatric issues.

Hmm true. Though i only saw those with persistent hypertension.
