Try one and you'll know the difference.

With manual brushing, your hands will get tired brushing up and down for all your teeth.

With electric, you just guide the brush, and you can do 2 min (recommended) brushing easily.

More important is to brush your teeth and your gums softly with a toothbrush with the soft bristles.

I thought dental care in Singapore is blardy expensive, 3 out of 10 elderly can't afford it.

actually i think many people just don't take care of their teeth. I see so many people with bad teeth everyday.

Before i did this line of work, i used to think only my parent's generation will have bad teeth...

In the past dentists never advise us to use soft bristle toothbrush to brush near the gum-line and avoid damaging the gums. This seems to be the standard advice these days.

Then i wonder the medium and hard bristle brush is for what nowadays??

Soft bristle brush does not remove trapped food particles or plaque so thoroughly so must always follow by flossing.

ok la bro.. 2mins wouldn't cause tiredness in hand / wrist; no need brush super hard.

i change to left hand nowadays as certain angle on one side of teeth feels more natural for wrist movement when brushing up n down.. also use opportunity to train left hand to be more adept at brushing teeth..

And floss regularly.

In UK they've recently stated that flossing does no use whatsoever.

I use a Power Flosser myself

It amazes me how much food it removes from the spaces between my teeth even when I've used interdental brushes similar to

I wish this sort of thing had been available when I was young.

I'd still have a full set of teeth.
