K5G1 2nd Gear October 10, 2018 Share October 10, 2018 According to data on onemotoring, there are 77 Kia hatchbacks registered as at the end of Aug 18. I presume they are Stingers. There were also 33 Alfa Romeo saloons registered in 2018. Presumably Giulias. @theoldjaffa - encouragingly large choices for you (and me) in 3 year's time. Hmm... tot claim was they already sold 100 stingers?? Just got follow up call from SE, but didn't ask for details as think should wait a bit longer before deciding.

Toeknee_33 Turbocharged October 10, 2018 Share October 10, 2018 (edited) You are not a salesman if you donât be a big canon!!! HahhaIt could well be the truth. The onemotoring data of 77 is only for registration as at end August. Cars registered in September and October, plus unfulfilled orders could easily make up the 20+ sales. Runforyourlife 5th Gear October 11, 2018 Share October 11, 2018 Was quoted $147999 in Jul. Coe was lowest... Around current range. when there's a huge drop, it could mean new model coming? No huge drop la. This stinger would definitely be more value for money than whatever face lift that will come. Spec to spec the 2L is even better than the US trims!

Ake109 Supercharged October 11, 2018 Share October 11, 2018 any comparison between 2.0 and 3.3 in terms of servicing and maintenance? how about the 3.3 vs contis? Go try it yourself if you can. One weakness I find compared to the Conti's is that if you step on the 3.3tt, it takes some time for the power to come on. Not sure if its due to the engine or the TCU or bit of both. What do you mean by "takes some time for power to come on"? When you step on the throttle, does RPM increase after a few second?
Kar_lover Supercharged October 12, 2018 Share October 12, 2018 What do you mean by "takes some time for power to come on"? When you step on the throttle, does RPM increase after a few second? I believe he means turbo lag. When step on pedal, RPM does go up but the acceleration takes about 1 to 2 secs to actually kick in - although partly could also be due to waiting for the gear to auto shift down. I have not driven a conti turbo like BMW but my current Infinity with Renault turbo diesel engine also has this lag.

Mercury1 Turbocharged October 12, 2018 Share October 12, 2018 Was he car on sports mode when stepped on it? Usually there is abit of lag on my car too unless I put it on sports mode.
