Myvi would be interesting but nobody will buy the car due to coe and badge.

It is interesting but if they sell here, the pricing will probably wipe out the interest..

Still got ppl buy...

Numbers don't lie bro! Last 6 months have 80 units new Perodua put on the road.

December got 20+....means got people buying.

For the AD to sustain, this brand needs to sell average around 10 cars per month so based on the history, they can hit this number or find a way to meet this target. And, their setup not so big, is very low cost. 2 to 3 salesman, 1 person sell 3-5 cars per month..so is about there.

Else, business can't sustain

U don't see becos maybe it's much lesser den toyota Honda Mazda..

But, I agree on the "bO-chap" nonchalant attitude..can sell much more why settle for lesser?!?! This part I don't quite understand?..plus fulco Kia mitsubishi is just next door muahahahah

Sorry if I wasn't clear. The numbers are referring to Axia not Bezza. Yes, average 10 Bezza registered per month but can they continue with the current price.

Hearsay the current price is not due to VES penalty. Anyone can confirm?

PS, someone gave you a dislike?...

When I was looking for new car early last year got take a look at Mazda.

It’s actually quite near to C&C in terms of T&C. Must take loan, must trade in car, must take insurance all with them. Anything missing they add back the “penalty” one by one. And somehow the se quite stuck up. Like see me no up, so I also see TEK no up and walked out.

I received my brown Bezza auto on 2 Jan with SLV car plate :) got my COE mid December for around 42k.

So far clocked 300km already. Average FC mixed driving around 16km/l. so far quite happy with it, and glad that i booked bezza instead of the attrage back then.

Wa what was your coe rebate? Did they bid strictly on that rebate level?

Not sure, my COE price was 42,800. I topped up 6k in cash as the car price was 66,800 (based on COE 36.8k).

Decided to top up as it was already last chance to register car before VES kicks in.

Mine is OPC though, so effective price paid 55.8k.

Then can go across the border and do upgrades to the car but pay in RM. Pity that the exchange rate is not as good as before. Last year was 3.15, not 2.97 only.. [bigcry]

Still affordable. Can enjoy AD servicing experience with SG outside workshop rate.

At $72,000 after you topped up $6K, the pricing might not be as attractive at $6,950 annual depreciation (scrap value is $2,500). COE is the main killer for the Bezza.

There are other tempting alternatives –

Kia K3 L 1.6A - $74, 000 (scrap $6,000). Annual dep $6,800

Hyundai Accent 1.4A - $70,000 (scrap $5,000). Annual dep $6,500

True dat. Did consider the alternatives but i found the basic K3 is really basic, not to mention the fuel consumption is quite bad.

The accent is around 76k now and wasnt released back then. The FC for the entry level Korean cars aren't very good :(

Also, the long term maintenance and spare parts are evaluation points as well. Lastly, i personally don't like Korean makes :/ Cognitive bias since the kia sephia days.

I agree that the Kia K3 is a fuel guzzler giving an average of 10km/l . Partly due to its heavy kerb weight of 1.3 tonnes.

Does not help that you need to rev hard to pick up speed and is also underpowered.

In Malaysia and USA, the K3 is sold with a 1.8l and 2.0l engine respectively.

10km/l.....that is bad. As everything Korean....nice packaging, nice looking, nice curves and sexy looking....but i wont touch. I have no Korean made stuffs at home save for a 22" lcd bought more than 10 yrs ago which i had to repair it myself after 3 yrs. The rest of my Korean products had to be replaced after a few yrs. Now its only Jap brands.....made in MY, INA or Singapore.
